Kandel in the Wind has all the bells and whistles to make your next vacation a memorable one. Located in the quiet oceanside neighborhood of Crown Point, you will enjoy amenities like the large community pool, tennis courts and private beach access only 185 yards from the cottage. Conveniences are close by including grocery stores, fabulous restaurants, shops and boutiques, a movie theater and countless outdoor activities.

The three level interior is bright and cheery and features radiant hardwood flooring in the great room and granite counter tops in the kitchen.

The upper level has a great room with large flat screen TV, hardwood floors, cathedral ceiling, gas fireplace (for use in the off-season), comfy furnishings and access to the upper sun deck. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator with icemaker, range/oven, microwave, dishwasher and bar seating for four. The dining area seats up to ten. Finally, the king master bedroom has a TV, direct deck access and private bath with dual sink vanity.

The mid-level has a den with sleep sofa, flat screen TV, and access to the covered deck. There are three master bedrooms; a queen master bedroom with a TV, balcony and private bath. A king master bedroom with a TV, access to a covered deck and a private bath. The third master bedroom has two twin beds, a TV, access to covered deck and a private bath.

The lower level has a rec room with a pool table and a convenient wet bar with sink, microwave and full refrigerator. There is a bedroom with two twin bunk sets and a second bedroom with a pyramid bunk set with trundle. The bedrooms share a full hall bath. The washer and dryer are also located on this level.

Outdoor amenities include a private pool, hot tub, covered parking, two charcoal grills and two outdoor showers. The community pool and tennis courts are just steps away.

Dirty

The location of this rental was very nice, close to the beach and shopping. This was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed in. The vents and fans were covered with dust, there was poop on the baseboard in the bathroom. The first few nights people in our party had headaches from the dust and one person had to get a refill for their inhaler that they rarely use. It was nice being together but I wish it was in a cleaner place. We did call and complain to the management company who sent out the cleaners again, when they came they left the car running came into the house and mopped the kitchen floor and left.

Disappointing

When we arrived our first impression was how filthy the place was. Food residue on the refrigerator handle, dead fruit flies in the refrigerator, old food in the microwave, dishes in the dishwasher, bathrooms were cleaned maybe half. Outdoor furniture completely busted up and the hot tub had murky water. None of the bedrooms have been vacuum in a long time. We found Cheetos, popcorn and dead bugs. This place has potential, but needs some updating and more then anything better housekeeping! Would not recommend.

Fantastic Place in a Great Location!

The property was ideally situated both really close to the beach and the main shopping centers. The house itself was fantastic! The pool was a welcome break from the heat when it was too hot to go to the beach. The house had plenty of space and we all loved the main living room area on the top floor to hang out together. Only negatives were the bugs, just need to be careful opening/closing doors in the evening. Overall I would highly recommend the place and hope to be back again!
