A summer place is located perfectly three rows back with beach access! You can see the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean from the third level! I enjoy the wraparound decks for views of the ocean and the sound! The kids hung out in the game room a lot.

Vacation

Upon arrival I contacted to let them know that we arrived early & to see if we could possibly check in a little earlier, the person that I spoke to was not very friendly and stated no that we would have to wait for the time stated we could check in, that time arrived & I had not received a text as stated that i would to let me know we could enter the property, I had to call again & they stated that they had sent a text but I had not received it? Also once we entered we inspected the home closely & their was trash (candy wrappers) under beds downstairs, dog hair on furniture, all over the floors in certain areas, I had called in about toliet running for a long time after flushing, slates broken in blinds, handle rail pulled out from the wall, toliet paperHolder broken & no one came to fix any of these items while we were there. One of the days we woke up to the ac unit not working upstairs & it didn’t get fixed till almost supper time , also their was a broken shelf in one of the cabinets in the kitchen, tons of dirty dishes that we had to wash before using, dirty utensils left in the grill. If there was an inspection done before we were able to enter the home as the person told me on the phone then it was done very poorly. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of all the dirty dishes.

Memories Made

Our family of 9 adults and 4 children (2 being babies) had a wonderful time in A Summer Place. The pool and hot tub were the perfect afternoon activity after a morning on the beach. The Pacman video game was a huge hit with our 8 and 10 year old grandsons. Having 2 dishwashers made keeping up with the dishes exceptionally manageable. It was also helpful to have 3 refrigerators in the home. The only negative would have been the cleanliness of the floors. Having 2 babies, we were on the floor constantly and our feet actually turned black from a lack of having cleaned floors. The table in the screened in porch had also clearly not been cleaned and was covered in something sticky from previous renters. It wasn't the end of the world to clean it ourselves, but I needed to mention it. Overall, we had a very nice experience!

The house is beautiful and spacious. Our kids loved playing in the game room. We loved that the house was so close to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house, well appointed, great time!

This house is beautifully maintained. Short walk to the beach, close to many activities. We had no issues or needs to even talk with the property manager except to check in. We had not been to the banks since 2005. Caution!!! traffic and crowds. Plan your meals out before you arrive. ALL restaurants were booked through the week and into the next week the day we arrived. Went on the wild horse tour, boat ride to Sanctuary Vineyards for a tasting and generally spent most of the time local to the house. Would recommend this property and would stay here again!
