"Good location right on the high street in Melrose, but the hotel is very dated and in need of redecoration. I seem to have been upgraded and had a much better room than I expected, very large with a bay window overlooking the street, so I was very pleased with my stay. Breakfast is good and freshly cooked to order. "

"Lovely hotel, let down by the restaurant's food. We had a lovely time at The Tempus hotel. Our room was a Junior Suite and was large, well decorated, clean and confortable. The reception staff were very welcoming and showed us to our room. The bar and terrace were nice - we were lucky with the weather so were able to sit outside. The surroundings are lovely. The resturant however lets the hotel down. We had dinner and breakfast. At dinner, the waitress who took our order did not know the menu...

"The property is in a great location, perfect for the bus and the coop. Short walking distance to the centre of Seahouses. It was clean and felt like it had been decorated recently. Towels were nice and fluffy. Coffee/tea stuff was refilled daily. Only thing missing was hand wash in the bathroom."
