"Can't recommend enough. Beautiful location on Lough Corrib. We had a family reunion and the house had everything we needed for big dinners on the shores of the lough or in inclimate weather, eating indoors. Oughterard is very easy to get to from Galway on a new road that makes the journey quick. (about 30 mins) The town itself is lovely with nice food options for eating out. The interior of the house is very comfy. Especially the beds. The furniture is a bit dated but did not present any...

"Our family recently had the pleasure of staying in Atlantic way cottage and it exceeded our expectations. Eimear was a wonderful host. Communication was fantastic and she was so welcoming. The house itself was amazing. Spacious, clean and comfortable with everything required for our family of 9 with thoughtful touches throughout. A short drive to get the Ferry to the Aran Islands, which we just loved. We would definitely return to this gorgeous little retreat! 5/5"

"We spent two lovely weeks at the Brownstown Lodge. The house is spacious and comfortable. It was a good base for our exploration of western Ireland. Thomas responded immediately to our texts. Jim and Mary were wonderful hosts. There was cake and a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers waiting for us upon arrival. Midway through our stay, Mary brought us a delicious homemade rhubarb crisp! "We’re “day trippers” and value returning after a day’s foray to a welcoming home. Heaven, Too was just that and more: spacious to the point of luxury, with views that constantly drew the eye. I was often re-reading the same page two or three times because I was either distracted by the scene outside or drifting off in the comfort of the lovely sunroom. Highly recommended."

"What an incredible and comfortable place. The views, property and region were stunning. Loved the cottage and its decor and the peaceful easy energy that surrounded us. We stayed eight days and enjoyed many day trips throughout the region. Plus several days simply being in the awe inspiring space watching the tides come in and flow out. "Schönes abgelegenes Haus in ruhiger Lage mit tollem Meerblick - leider kein Zugang zum Meer möglich. Das Haus beinhaltet aber alles was man braucht . Von hier aus haben wir unsere Ausflugsziele alle in ca. 30-40 Minuten gut erreichen können, daher perfekt zentral gelegen. Viele sehr schöne Strände in der Umgebung. Die Vermieterin ist manchmal etwas verwirrt, es hat aber trotzdem alles super funktioniert. Leider kein WIFI, das Netz ist aber gut genug um mit seinen Daten online gehen zu...

"Our family reunion of 6 stayed here for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing 450 year old Tower. We had meals and played games in the great room, viewed the sunsets from the rooftop ramparts and generally lived like the Royal family (minus the servants of course). It served as an unforgettable and spectacular setting for a long overdue reunion for our family. We would return in a heartbeat."

"Fantastisk beliggenhed med den smukkeste udsigt. Mulighed for mange gode ture - til fods eller i bil - fra stedet. Lejligheden var kold og uden radiator i spise-opholds-stuen (der var radiatorer i de andre rum). Vi savnede en ansat på stedet til at svare på spm. Fx da der ikke var varmt vand eller da vi ikke kunne få badet på 1. sal til at virke. Eller om de havde en mobil radiator til spiseområdet ;)"
