"I did not read reviews before I booked our stay and I probably should have. Our room was clean enough for the one night we were staying but the hotel seems to be in overall disrepair. The small things begin to add up. While the room was clean, the remote control for the TV would not work. The batteries were held in place with a rubber band. "The pictures showed a newly remodeled hotel. The room that we stayed in was an older room; not like the picture. The pool was supposed to be open from 9 am - 9 pm; that was not the case. The pool was open from 4 pm - 9 pm. Nice breakfast and the room was well air conditioned."

"The only good thing about this hotel is the location if you are going to a sporting event. If you generally like Holiday Inn Express, lower your expectations. Old, outdated and in need of major renovation. I think it was clean but it was hard to tell from how old everything was. Carpet looks to be from the 80s, and not in a cool vintage way.
