The Richard Tottie Memorial Hall, Coniston Cold. The front of this building is shown on 1331005, so I have submitted a view from the rear. An internet search found the following quote from an art sale catalogue: "Coniston Hall was sold in 1969 by order of the executors of Mrs. Tottie's son, the late Richard Tottie".

The lane to Bell Busk, Coniston Cold The church is at the top of the rise (why is this called 'Hospital Hill'?), and then the lane drops down to Gill Syke and the River Aire at Bell Busk.

Coniston Lake. This is clearly the dominant feature in this square. Unfortunately it is made perfectly clear that the great unwashed are not permitted on the shore of this lake - this is the nearest I could go. I was tempted to creep in for the sake of a perfect geograph, but then I would put my name to a clear trespass wouldn't I?

I’ve completed the challenge many years ago in my youth and this time we just tackled this one on a circular 6 mile walk. We took the 3 peaks ascent route which is steep in places and involves a scramble up some rocks near the end but the views
