  • Superb stone-built cottage at the heart of Grassington. Completely renovated to an exceptionally high standard in 2017 providing well-equipped, cosy accommodation, lovely garden and private parking.

    Our well appointed cottage is Tucked Away in the heart of Grassington village, just off the bustling main street but seconds away from the picturesque cobbled square.
    Finished to a high standard throughout, this cottage offers comfortable, well-equipped accommodation for up to four people and utilises a combination of modern furnishings and original features. There is central heating throughout and wi-fi. The sitting room boasts exposed beams, wooden flooring and a multi-fuel stove. Bedroom 1 features a handmade kingsize sleigh bed and Bedroom 2 offers the option of two single beds or a super kingsize bed. There is an upstairs bathroom with a shower, toilet and handbasin. Downstairs there is cloakroom with a toilet and hand basin. The garden provides an excellent spot for al fresco dining and private parking is located right outside the cottage.

    Amenities: Gas central heating and multi-fuel stove. Electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, smart TV and wi-fi, washing machine. A freezer is available if needed - located in the outbuilding.
    Bed linen and towels provided. Private parking with space for 2 small cars (or ample space for a single car). Enclosed garden. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, cafes and pubs 1 min walk.

    Please note that access into Brown Fold is narrow and is unsuitable for any vehicles wider than a transit van.

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location. Steps to the village square! Clean, comfortable, and so charming! Be aware that the laneway is quite narrow, so if hiring a car, smaller is better.

The parking was very easy and the cottage is amazing, so comfy and relaxing, this was our third stay here.The village is very quaint and has some amazing places to eat and drink.

Beautiful cottage & location, perfect for lovely walks & pub lunches. We were enjoying it so much we stayed an extra night, all very easily organised. We will definitely return.

Another great stay in this lovely cottage, just minutes from the centre of Grassington and its shops and amenities and yet peaceful and quiet. Well-equipped kitchen, cosy living room, powerful shower, supremely comfortable matresses. Huge advantage of a parking space - not always the case in Grassington - and a lovely little enclosed patch of grass for enjoying the outdoors. Beautiful oak furniture - made by the family who own a local business - is a lovely addition.

We were extremely happy with the property, a real home from home, friendly greeting on arrival, really central with good parking, the beds were comfy which was appreciated after our days out walking, we would definitely book again if in the area

Tucked Away Cottage was clean and cozy with everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed being able to walk straight from the door and didn’t use our car at all after we’d arrived. Also enjoyed having 3 pubs to choose from, all just a short stroll away.

Just back from 4 night stay, loved the coziness of the cottage, and the welcoming constant warmth, despite the very cold weather! Hosts very responsive, and very amenable. Perfectly positioned in the village, everything in walking distance, and the surrounding walks were lovely.The parking space was invaluable too, top marks.

Absolutely perfect place to stay. Beautiful cottage with parking.Nice logburner to use. All the facilities were excellent. Lovely comfortable furnishings.Lots of nice touches.Couldnt get a better location. Its minutes away from all the shops, pubs and restaurants.Great communication with the lovely host Jo.Cant recommend Tucked Away Cottage enough. It was a really nice treat!!!

We were absolutely delighted with the property. It’s generously appointed, supremely comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Our hosts were very helpful and quick to respond which was greatly appreciated. As regular visitors to Grassington we very much hope to stay here again.

Tucked Away Cottage was fantastic in every way. Very tastefully furnished, immaculately clean and perfectly located. We’ve been using self catering accommodation since 1999 and this was probably the best place we’ve stayed at. The hosts were very helpful and provided enough basics to get you started and plenty of information regarding the accommodation and local area. We would 100% stay here again therefore would wholeheartedly recommend it to others. The location is absolutely perfect being able to walk to all of the pubs, cafes and shops in the area. We didn’t move the car all week and walked for miles around the dales from our doorstep!
