"I was looking for a unique spot for a 2-night stay while transiting through VA and this was perfect! I was working remotely so my main criteria was the Wi-Fi, which was strong and fast (180+ Mbps), and a comfortable place from which to work; I alternated between the window counter and the couch (quite comfortable) and never felt restless. "Staying in this beautiful historic home was like staying with dear friends. It’s a lovely house in a great neighborhood. It was clean and inviting. Virgil was helpful and quick to respond to our questions. The beds were so comfortable that I slept as well as I do at home. "This property was very clean, and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay here, especially being within walking distance of things in the downtown area. We did have a bit of a challenge with the parking off site, as someone was in our spot...but a phone call to one of the emergency numbers provided gave us a quick solution, he was VERY helpful! Would stay again for sure."

"We enjoyed our quiet weekend in the Rivermont neighborhood. The apartment was tastefully decorated in a cool vintage theme. Although a basement apartment it had plenty of natural light. Great off street parking for one car, full size fridge, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We would stay again!"

"It’s an old neighborhood but don’t let that deter you. Revitalization efforts are apparent. House & yard are well kept & clean, back sitting area, fire ring & dog bowls were a wonderful touch. The neighbors on both sides are nice too. They stay to theirselves but will talk to you if you talk to them. There is/was also deer in the neighborhood which was surprising given it’s so close to the city. One was in the backyard this morning! Not sure who was more startled, it or me! The only improvement...
