"By far one of the best places we’ve stayed at in Lake Tahoe! What made it even more convenient was the fact that we had a stovetop so we saved so much money on going out to eat! Staff was very friendly and so was the front desk manager! I would definitely recommend staying here again!!!"

"The hallway and steps and area outside the hotel room smells like piss. Vomit and other things idk what they are. My room smelled of piss and vomit. My bed had hair in it and was dirty. The other bed was ok. Bathroom was dirty and old. Not enjoyable room for 180$ "

"I've driven by this property many, many times and never stopped. But what a great spot. Lounging/bbq areas and firepits right on the river. The lodge next door is beautiful and has pool, foosball and a great deck overlooking the river"

"The property is older but has been very well maintained. The room was impeccably clean, no smells or odors, everything was nice and not worn or sketchy. The place in incredibly quiet!! We barely heard any indication that there was anyone else staying there. The mattress was firm but comfortable. No complaints about the room. The down side, maybe, was the area surrounding the buildings was....old. Could use a little TLC. The "lake view" is quite limited but there is a lovely park less than 5 min...

"My wife and I came up to stay the night at heavenly valley Lodge. We will look on hotels and try and decide where to stay in South lake Tahoe. We both came to the agreement to give this Lodge a shot and let me tell you I am so glad we made the choice to stay here. Even though it is a no-staff on-site Lodge we didn't need anything because the room was equipped with everything we needed. "The condo was great for the most part. We had a couple of issues with the condo, most of which were addressed after being brought to the attention of the lodge staff. Not much to complain about here. Great pricing, great location, and beautiful view."
