"The house is wonderful. If you like old houses or antiques you will love this. It is small, so I would not recommend it for more than a couple. We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved the quiet area and that it was not in town but close enough to Brenham for convenience. The house is very clean and well stocked with linens, cooking utensils, basic pantry items. The fosge is small though, so if you want to cook you may need to grocery shop frequently. "The location was conveniently close to McKinney Roughs Nature Park where we hiked for 2 days, ziplined, and did a segway tour on the park’s Pine Ridge. The king bed was very comfortable; the back porch view was relaxing (perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails); everything was clean; and it was a quiet location. We had already brought our own groceries with us but found the host had stocked the frig and cupboards with breakfast items! We would definitely stay here again!"

"The house and the host were just great! It was roomy, clean, well-supplied, comfortable, accessible, and safe.My family of seven adults had a wonderful time the short time we were there. We even had a fire in the back yard fire pit one night. There was also plenty of driveway for our four cars. The host was available as needed, which was very little. And, we really appreciated and used the supplied ear plugs. (The house is beside the fairly busy railroad tracks.)"
