I tried to get the door code from the owner a day or two ahead but I got responses through the portal were not clear. We assumed we would get the code before check in at 4. When we got to the unit, at 5:30, we were hot and tired and still had no code. I spent half an hour getting through to someone at VRBO to help us contact the owner.When I finally reached her, she snapped that she already had sent the code, by text, but I double checked and she had not. Regardless, the process should not have been this frustrating and the owner should have been pleasant about it. The unit was clean and fresh with a nice variety of snacks provided. It is a basement unit, which we understood, but that it not clear in the website information
