"I like all the staff in this hotel. What I don’t like is the outlets. All our cellphone and laptop chargers seems too small for the outlet. No outlets in the bathroom to plug the hair blower in. Also, please include toilet papers in your amenities and always put two bathroom towels as your rooms are good for two people. "It's an old building, and situated in the middle of a poor area. Directly outside of my room window are slum housing. It's advertised as something really good, and it's NOT. The only thing good was the many pools if you like that. The breakfast buffet was average at best. It should be priced around $25 - 30 per night."

"Great price for an overnight stay. The room was clean and comfortable, hot water was good. The shuttle service was excellent was picked up at the airport on time from an evening flight back and had a very early international flight the next morning, when I went downstairs the driver was already there waiting. This service alone is so worth it especially for a solo female traveler. Didn’t have the chance to try their breakfast maybe next time. Thank you I had a short and pleasant stay."

"The only good thing I can say about my stay at the Appleton Boutique Hotel is the room was very big.
At breakfast there were roaches on our table, on the water dispenser and on the food stands where the food was being offered and also mice droppings around the food.
The kitchen and dinning area smelled of pest control products. The lobby doors and windows were dirty as well as the elevator.
I could tell the food was recycled and not fresh everyday. The only reason i didn’t give this hotel...

"Was there for my high school reunion and family outing. Check in was smooth, property was pristine with that old world charm we loved seeing. My kids’ favorite were the pools but mine was the beach! It was like being in an aquarium seeing marine life up close and one of the staff telling us about them. Breakfast buffet had good variety and great presentation. This is indeed a great resort!"
