The Beach House at Windrush

The Beach House is a pristine beachside resort located right in the heart of Cocoa Beach and is about 45 minutes from the Orlando International Airport and about an hour from Disney and Sea World. We are close to Kennedy Space Center, The Cocoa Beach Pier and Port Canaveral. This 2 bedroom 2 bath condo features a King size bed in the master with access to the balcony and two double beds in the second bedroom that comfortably sleeps 4.

When not out enjoying all that Cocoa Beach has to offer, gather in the open area of the dining and living room which also has access to the beautiful Florida weather via your own private balcony.

The beach only a short walk away via your private access, enjoy a relaxing tanning session or go for a dip in the Atlantic Ocean. Not too much into salt water? No problem! Dive right in to the exclusive swimming pool and spa. You will also have access to the Tennis Courts if you want to play a match or two.
*Note: There is an 8% penalty for cancellation at any time.

SAFETY FIRST:

We follow a five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on a cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts.

Here are a few highlights:

* We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
* We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and
we wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
* We refer to cleaning checklists to thoroughly clean each room
* We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay
* We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning
guidelines

You must complete an HOA required registration form before arrival. You will have a light red laminated parking pass to use while there.

The pass is located in the guest book and must be returned the day you checkout. The $50 Resort Fee assessed at booking will be returned after verification of the returned pass.

Any type of commercial vehicle is NOT AUTHORIZED.

Beach is within walking distance. Uber is available and its only a 10 minute drive to downtown Cocoa Beaches restaurants and shopping!

There is not a beach view from the unit. The pool and beach access is located in the back of the complex, while the unit is located in the front.
The pool is pictured in the listing, but the building(s) in the pictures is NOT where the unit is located.
HOUSE RULES:
1. All Communication must be through the chat feature of the booking app.
2. Due to a health hazard to the owners and others who manage this property, this property is not Pet Friendly. DO NOT bring any type of animal
3. Primary Guests must be 21 years of age or older to rent this property.
4. NO PARTIES ALLOWED. Any guest that has a will be asked to leave without a refund. ANY Parties will result in a minimum fine of $500.
5. Absolutely NO SMOKING is allowed on the property including Vapes, Marijuana, and Tobacco. Smoking will result in a $250 fine.
6. Quiet time from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am (even on weekends, no loud music or any loud noise during quiet time)
7. Checkout is at 10:00 am. Check-In Time 3:00 PM
8. There is a lost key fee of $50 for any key that's lost and not recoverable.
9. No Refunds on reservations canceled due to a violation of our House Rules

REPAIRS:
We do our best to provide each guest with the best vacation experience possible. However, just like in your home back home, sometimes issues might occur that require attention. Some issues do not interrupt nor disturb your stay and can be dealt with once your vacation is over. Other issues will require immediate attention and must be reported as soon as they occur.

The time to report them is NOT upon or after checkout of a multiple-night stay as there will be no compensation in those instances because we will consider them livable according to your standards. If you are experiencing a stay-altering issue with the property, we will get you moved to a different location immediately. Clear and Concise Communication is paramount.

Checkout Instructions:

Thank you for staying at our Vacation Rental.
Before you go, we have a few things we ask you to do:

1. When you leave, lock the door and return the key to the lockbox. Don't forget to scramble the code and close the cover to help us protect the box.

2. The checkout time is at 10 AM. Please be courteous and be out by then so housekeeping can get started.

3. Be sure to check under the bed for any belongings you might have left behind, and log out of your Netflix or any other streaming services you may have used.

4. Turn off all overhead lights and set the A/C thermostat to 77 degrees.

5. Please strip any beds that were slept in and leave the bedsheets on the floor at the foot of the bed.

6. Make sure all the windows are shut.

7. Wash and put away any used kitchenware and dishes.

Traveling for work. Everything I needed, more than I could reasonably expect, was provided. As the title states, this was an excellent vacation home away from home.

We were very disappointed in the attention the real estate gave to our needs. Towel racks fell from the wall and were never fixed, patio screen torn where the door opened, there were ghost ants and they refused to acknowledge how bad the problem was, the listing showed hair dryer and Netflix they didn’t work, from the first day we needed a filter for the refrigerator and never got it, the day we arrived the lock on the door was broke and we weren’t advised ahead of our arrival, they would only communicate by email never by phone. The experience caused us days of our vacation attending to our problems. We definitely would not recommend. Besides the listing said COVID clean not by the amount of dirt under the beds. The real estate manager was rude and abusive. Fixtures fell from the bathroom ceilings. We couldn’t even find out the real estate name to contact them.
