"The only downfall was that all the restaurants close early, the one that was supposed to be open and do room service shut at 8pm but otherwise a fantastic stay. Just try to eat early. We had a wonderful big lunch so weren't hungry in time. All the food places in the area are lovely. The best part about this was you're on the beach and there's a hot tub where you can watch the beach. It was fantastic. Staff are lovely too."

"Absolutely love staying at Tingirana but unfortunately this time the only accommodation available for our preferred dates was a studio room. Never again! So small, very limited storage space which already contained a luggage rack, heater & drying rack! Yes it was immaculately clean & would have been ok for a night or two, but at the end of 5 nights we couldn’t wait to escape. Loud music & voices from the bar across Hastings St meant the window had to stay closed. Would highly recommend...

"Terrific location and property. We had a beachfront room - recommend. I think we were in one of the un renovated rooms based off other photos but it was still amazing and loved the vibe. Much much much better than other places we have stayed. Loved all the little complimentary items. A lovely touch. Will 100% stay again. Only suggestion is that 10am is an early check out time especially on weekends - maybe an hour later on weekends is a great start. "

"The decor is a bit dated, but the condo is clean, comfortable and equipped with everything a traveller needs (including washing machine and dryer). The patio in back of the unit is ringed by well maintained gardens - it’s a lovely spot for morning coffee or afternoon beer. The lakeside trail that begins a block away is good for a run. "

"This is our second time here.Its clean and tidy and out of the way of the rat race. The only down fall this time was we were on the bottom unit and I got woken every time the person upstairs flushed their toilet but no big deal."
