"We were pleasantly surprised. A last minute overnight stay with our dog. Excellent food and the staff were all welcoming , helpful and kind. No additional charges for our dog. Our room was large, comfortable and provided everything we needed. Garden at the back enabled easy walking for the dog. Location is great with walks locally and plenty to explore. We will be back for a longer stay. Great value for money. "

"Great 3 night stay at the Keelman. Check in nice and easy, staff friendly and very helpful. Room was good, big enough for us, and had all we needed, bed comfortable, shower really good, clean and tidy. (Maybe could do with a fridge) the surroundings were very nice, a short walk to the Riverside park. Bar and restaurant were lovely, and nice outside sitting area. Food and beers excellent, especially the Prince Bishop, would definitely stay here again"

"Die Lage war für uns als Hadrianswanderer ideal. Die Unterkunft ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, war aber für uns völlig genügend. Das Pub ist wunderschön gelegen und bietet sehr gutes Essen an, das man bei schönem Wetter draussen geniessen kann. Das Angebot war reichhaltig zu vernünftigen Preisen. Schade war, dass man erst ab 8:00 frühstücken konnte mit sehr wässrigem, teurem Kaffee. Es übernachten sehr viele Hadrianswanderer, die sicher beizeiten loslaufen wollen."

"Medi, the chef, and his wife, Daniella, run the Inn and gave us both a warm, friendly welcome. The room was tidy and clean and we both had good night's sleeps even though the room was above the pub..I recommend Medi's Eggs Benedict which was fantastic and he also catered in the evening with great home made food - I had the best fish and chips I've had for many a year..I'd recommend the Sunday roast too which was awesome and over generous...and reasonably priced... Next time we're in the area...
