"They say first impressions count for everything and here it is really true. The 2 ladies on the reception were so incredibly friendly and helpful despite the fact we were 3 hours early to check in. One of them showed me the car park as I was a little unsure if I would be able to park a 4X4 down there (I could and did). They went above and beyond to help us. "Great location with free parking. Property was modern, clean, warm and had a well stocked kitchen. Washing machine and dryer is a big plus. There was a lack of places to hang clothes (we lived out of a suitcase so it don’t matter to us). A couple of light fittings were hanging off the ceiling (kitchen and bedroom) All minor issues, would highly recommend this property!"

What disappointed me most was learning that the restaurant has been closed for years. This was not disclosed in advance. There was also no bar, which was frustrating, especially when other nearby hotels clearly offered those amenities. As a result, this hotel felt like nothing more than a clean place to sleep.
