"I booked this property for an after Christmas get away; two families each with two grown children. From the beginning, communication with the owners was prompt and friendly. The cabin was clean, filled with everything we needed and was even decorated for Christmas, which is exactly what we wanted. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out including a basement with a ping pong table and basketball game. "The Boathouse is literally on the water with all of the amenities you need to take in the pond and nature. It is a quiet and serene area. My only recommendation is load up with beer, wine and food before arriving. You won’t want to leave and there isn’t much food in area."

"Vanderkamp was the ideal setting for small family 50th Anniversay celebration. Although the weather wasn’t perfect, we were able to be outside for 2 of our 4 days – hiking, paddleboarding, canoeing, fishing, and playing yard games. Off the dock it was very weedy and mucky, but it was fun to watch the fish and snakes. Inside there was ample room to either be together or find quiet places to read or relax. "The room was clean, bed is comfortable. The staff was nice both at check in and at the fitness center. The hot tub was crowded in the tower but then i went to the family pool and it was empty. That was nice. "
