"We loved the wide open view of the sky over the mountain. We watched the sun set while we sat in the hot tub. This little house is just 3 miles from the Hemlock Falls trail, which is gorgeous and ends at a swimming hole. The house is clean, comfy, and a great getaway from the city. "

"We stayed here with a group of teenagers for our daughter’s birthday celebration. The property was beautiful, the farm animals were fun to watch. We enjoyed the privacy so the kids could talk on the porches, and we loved the fact that the loft was full of beds, so nobody had to feel left out. The kitchen was stocked with a variety of tools and some spices. Plenty to do nearby, quick access to grocery stores and great hiking/swimming. We would stay again! "

"Perfect house for our “girls” trip! I do not even know where to start in describing this house! The views were incredible ( mountains, sunsets, birds)! And all that could be seen sitting in the couch! The kitchen was equipped with literally everything I would use at my home and then some! Karen was an absolute wonderful hostess providing many extras for us to use as needed or wanted! The ease of checking in and checking out was as easy as I have ever done! "We spent the night before our friends' wedding. The red tiny house had all we needed; bed, shower, coffee maker, and a hot tub. After the twisty ride from the Chattanooga area, the hot tub was a godsend. The gravel driveway was packed down enough for the motorcycle. It's a nice location for both Clayton and Helen. We will come back."

"Very clean. Perfect yet simple house . Very honey and country feel. Reminds me of my grandparents house which was awesome. Owners were told we’d be a late check in and even had the lights left on for us! Made getting in late very easy! We will be back in the spring now that we found this!"

"The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend."
