"The apartment was not clean. Even after I sent pictures he did not believe me. The place didn’t even have toilet paper! Since we were stuck and had no choice we cleaned the bathroom, stripped the bed and washed the sheets and ran the vacuum. Told owner and he said he had pics from the cleaner that were dated stamped after she cleaned. My pictures were date stamped as well. So he sent her back to “clean”. "Boy, I have I rented a lot of vacation rentals over the last 25 years and this is hands down one of my favorites, mostly because it felt like you’re so much at home I couldn’t wait to get back there at the end of the day just to relax and unwind because you are at home! They are right about the train so I’ll be prepared next time, she does have earplugs and some machines that help but it would not stop me from being there again."
