"Great pub just outside of Penzance - would recommend"

"I was in Penzance for a weekend conference. I just needed local accommodation to come back to at the end of the day. The Pirate Inn provided even more than that. I had Room 1 in the pub itself. It was a small room but beautifully laid out and decorated. Ensuite bathroom (with a bath!). And a fridge. And an abundant supply of refreshments. If I had had more time I would have liked to have enjoyed the pub and food onsite. Thank you so much to the staff who were very welcoming."

"The breakfast was good, but let down by being a little cold. The room and hotel were very nice and well kept, but the restaurant area was incredibly cold, the windows in the conservatory area leaked air around the edges and the air con wasn’t running any heating when we were in there eating so hurried through and returned to room. "

"We stayed at several places and this was another good one, but, keep in mind that: 1. You need to prebook a parking space. it will be an extra charge ~ £9 2. Also, prebook the restaurant for dinner. They can't guarantee guests a table 3 they automatically at a 10% gratuity on dinner bills, it says optional on the check Recommend."

"Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby. Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟"

"Lovely place, very clean & the hosts are lovely. The room was a great size with a sea view. I was travelling with my dog & by train & it’s not far from the train station. Lidl’s is about 8 mins walk up the road. I would definitely stay here again if in the area again."

"Historical with beautiful ground. We stayed in Hunter, a three bedroom apartment that is built against a ground. It is a bit musty and quite basic. Mattresses are not good quality. Bathroom has no counter space. The property in general feels dated and not luxury when it comes to softwares."
