"Overall cleanliness was OK. The bathroom looked newly refurbished, however the shower caddy was rusty and the soap dispensers were empty. No parking but there is a car park behind the hotel, also from the road isn’t easy to spot as it looks like a restaurant from the front. Breakfast was OK, one choice of coffee only included in the price. Overall the hotel is clean and comfortable. "

"When I checked images hotels looks in decent condition however when I turned up, it was a Indian restaurant, hallway smelled of strong curry, the room they gave me was a room converted from bathroom to bedroom, it felt like a refugee camp rather than a hotel "

"Lovely stay...pretty oak beamed bar and restaurant. Friendly staff,... very spacious accommodation in a courtyard setting with garden area.. Ample parking... Food excellent serving bar snacks as well as main meals and a fabulous breakfast. Would highly recommend if you are in this area to stay."

"The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. "

"Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her. Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. The view from the patio was endless countryside and at night it was rural enough that there was no light pollution and could see the stars. Room was well stocked with all types of teas and coffees. "Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge. Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes. Would stay again without hesitation."
