"This hotel is close to the airport. They provide excellent pickup service at the airport. "

"Last week room had no furniture except bed and desk. Found out in true Alaska style the truck with the new furnishings for the entire hotel has yet to arrive. They are doing their best! Also excellent salmon fishing in the river across the street. Enjoy!"

"The location is good for us to walk to the train station and Anchorage Museum."

"It's a good place to sleep. We stayed there on three separate occasions during a two week period. There are what appears to be illicit activities going on in the area but these people never bothered any of the motel patrons. The staff do their best to keep them at bay and the police drive through now and them. Fine place to sleep if that's all you need."

"Beautiful property.. Great staff!! Everyone was very helpful and nice. Food and drinks were priced fairly.. which is more than can be said about the room rate! Crazy that locals get a price break and they make the non residents bend over ! Sure would like to understand that logic. The tram to 7 glaciers is a must if you stay there ! "

"The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. They were under-staffed and the website states that there was a pool and gym onsite. That is not true as you had to go across the street to the Hotel Captain Cook and use their facilities. Those facilities are more for elderly men/women and the mens quarters made my sons feel uncomfortable. "

"This is NOT an Inn, but a 4bdrm property that has long term renters. Dirty, unorganized, no communication, no staff, nothing as advertised. Front door has a 6 didget code that was never provided, as wifi password requested multiple times. "

"Staff here is key for me coolest I’ve ever met from the reception, house keeping, security even the guests that come here are very cool to meet with and just have a conversation with once in a while and the rooms are equipped with full kitchens and the air conditioner/heater work very well and more than enough channels to find something you are interested in and the Free WiFi is excellent, their is on site laundry and vending machines for detergent and dryer sheets and a Home Depot next to the...

"I don't know if I'm entitled to use names in this review but I would like to say personally thank you to Jeff I'll leave out last names and just say that it was a wonderful stay and he made it very easy, accessible, and very comfortable for my stay at this Great North Lodging. To me personally it felt like a little taste of home in this nice very home homely apartment setting. Thank you so much great North lodging. +BROWN+"
