The cottage was clean, quaint, cozy, and comfortable, and the beautiful sunsets over the lake were definitely a highlight!A few minor things to note: the kayaks could use some upkeep, as they had standing water in them and we couldn’t locate life jackets. "Stayed here for Syracuse U. parents' weekend. Location was perfect, about 12 minutes from campus. House was lovely. Well-appointed with everything you would need, communication from owner was A+. Highly-recommend. "

"It’s listed as a luxury stay. I don’t feel that’s quite accurate. The beds were comfortable. Check in and check out was very easy. Took a couple hours to get a hairdryer, hot tub was only half the first night, there was a bees nest on the front porch, and couldn’t get the accent lighting to shut off and the backyard needed a little TLC. Other than that, it was an ok place."
