"The greeting from Andrew on arrival set the scene. He and all members of the team could not of done more to make our stay one to remember. The room was very good, having a balcony and a door to open allowing access was a bonus especially when able to enjoy the excellent weather when there. "What a lovely place! The room was surprisingly large with a more than spacious bathroom and both really clean. The adjoining pub/ restaurant had a really good atmosphere with a good range of beers. Staff were really nice friendly willing to help out wherever they can. I strongly recommend booking a table as from what I could see the place is very popular and you do t want to miss out on trying the food! "

"Absolutely stunning hotel, fascinating decor and wonderful location. Staff were friendly and helpful, allowed us to check in slightly before time and gave us a guided tour of the wonderful premises. The room was fantastic, clean and interesting decor, the bed was soft and comfortable. Overall had a great experience and would highly recommend the covenstead. "

"Lovely stay, very friendly helpful staff couldn’t do enough for us. Twin room no 4 small but very comfy, very nicely decorated, nice views to the left. Lovely bathroom with nice hot shower. We had an evening meal and breakfast there the food was lovely, service excellent. Plenty of parking, nothing much near by but that suited us. Would highly recommend and hope to return sometime. If you want to eat there at night make sure you book a table in advance, we weren’t made aware of this before hand...
