Greatly enjoyed my stay at Diane’s! Initially dealt with a couple of complications with the booking that she was incredibly patient with throughout the process. Her home is lovely and incredibly well-maintained, and it was clear to see just how lovely a space her house was instantly upon entering. Had no issues with the location, it is a bit of a ways away from the downtown metro but it was easy enough utilizing the nearby bus and train stations. Just had an incredibly wonderful stay and I am very greatful to Diane for being such a gracious host!

Clean and Comfortable

Very clean nice place, a very large one bedroom with two full bathrooms, kitchen upgraded with large island.The parking is reserved and there is plenty on the street. Very close to nice restaurants north to Hyde Park.Host is wonderful, very communicative.

This was by far the best Vrbo stay I've experienced thus far. The property was perfect and had everything you needed for an extended stay. Beautiful interior, clean and natural sun light. The host was very pleasant and even left a little welcome card for me. The neighboorhood was nice. What else can I say besides I would love to stay there again.

Absolutely charming!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is very spacious and is just delightful. Attention was clearly made to decorating. Having two full bathrooms is definitely a plus. Neighborhood is nice and having your own parking space is so helpful. We chose this location because it is close to the Griffin Museum of Science & Industry. We recommend this place to anyone.

Stayed here to run the Half-Marathon, very convenient location to the starting/finish line! Entrance would have been hard to find but owner gave very good specific directions to find the entrance. Could hear upstairs neighbors (TV, some banging and walking around) but otherwise quiet location. Not a lot of restaurants close by, but kitchen is well equipt for cooking yourself.

1st time to Chicago. Went with my 19yr old daughter to visit the new Obama Center. Property is located about 5 minute away from the museum, if you take an Uber. The host, Diane was extremely accommodating and responsive. My daughter didn't want to share the bed with me (crazy, LOL!), so Diane provided a comfortable rollaway bed for her. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and walkable. We took Uber and public transportation everywhere. Mostly because, I am from a big city, and I live for an opportunity not to drive in city traffic. but there is a parking lot right on the condo property, if you prefer to drive. The condo was decorated BEAUTIFULLY and clean!!! It had everything you could think of. Reminded me of my own home. We got in pretty late that first night, and Diane even left some snacks out, which were right on time. I would absolutely not hesitate to stay again. Have already shared with friends and family. This place is the go to in Chicago.

This property was very close to Univ of Chicago hospital and was great for us for a couple days. It was very clean, neat and well kept. One of biggest perks was it had parking next to the Condo. It has Been updated. Had snacks, coffee, spices, dishes, glasses, silverwear, towels and anything else you need. Even a washer and dryer that we didn’t need. Tv in the bedroom and living room. WiFi and a cute little deck with grill. I would stay here again definitely. And the lady was amazing to work with and extremely helpful.

Great Stay

Recently remodeled and everything was really nice. Tons of room. Very clean. Everything was as described. Having a reserved parking space in back was a big plus as street parking could be difficult. Kitchen was very well-equipped except for an absence of pot holders/oven mitts. We were impressed with how modern it was and how well-stocked it was (kitchen had lots of cooking spices, olive oil, etc and the bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) and the quality of the towels, etc compared to many other places we have stayed. Convenient location for UChicago. We will definitely stay there again next time we visit.

Lovely and spacious unit w/a fabulous, well stocked kitchen that seemed to have every amenity imaginable including a cupboard full of spices/seasonings. We chose this place due to its close proximity to the newly opened Obama Presidential Center. Altho we didn't have a car (a free parking space is available in the back of the building), we had no problem booking Lyft/Uber for our local travels. Diane was an especially patient and compassionate hostess, never making us feel as though we were problem guests w/too many q's. Her welcoming and helpful approach made everything run smoothly, as I felt she was holding my hand at every step along the way. This trip was in celebration of our 35th wedding anniversary. My hubs has a disability and traveled w/walking sticks, not a wheelchair/rollator this time. I really appreciated Diane's guidance for the easiest access (fewer steps) to the apt., as well as excellent restaurant recommendations. Being from CA, another bonus was picking up a few items from our fav grocery store (Trader Joe's), a short ride away. We used Midway as our CHI airport and that worked out perfectly. Thank you Diane for a wonderful visit.

Communication with Diane was above and beyond. Her prompt responses made the booking, settling in, and check out process as smooth as can be. The condo is very well furnished and ideally stocked in our opinion. Rooms and linens were immaculate. Having 2 bathrooms made our stay much easier. The bedroom is very spacious and quiet. There is an abundance of indirect lighting sources, as well as many outlets throughout the condo. Top notch kitchen appliances and counter, high end flooring in all rooms. The reserved parking space is an essential time saver. Wonderful stay.
