The Space:

Our studio apartment offers a comfortable and practical space designed for easy daily living. It features a cozy queen bed, a private bathroom with a bathtub, and a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and essential dining items.



For your convenience, the unit includes WiFi, a TV, and a dedicated desk, making it suitable for both work and relaxation. Located in a convenient neighborhood close to restaurants, shops, and nearby parks, it provides an ideal home base for enjoying the area with ease and comfort.



Guest Access:

The unit is on the second floor. Please note that the elevator is currently unavailable, so access is via stairs only.

Guests have full, private access to the apartment and all listed amenities during their stay. Check-in instructions will be provided before arrival.



*Optional Damage Waiver*



Accidents can happen. For a one-time, non-refundable fee of $35, you may add a Damage Waiver that covers up to $400 in qualifying accidental damage during your stay, including spills, stains, and broken glassware.



The waiver excludes intentional damage, missing items, pet-related damage, excessive cleaning, and damage resulting from unauthorized parties or events, negligence, misuse, or violations of house rules.

Home to the University of Chicago, Hyde Park blends classic city charm with a laid-back residential atmosphere.



Guests can enjoy nearby cafés, local restaurants, bookstores, and cultural landmarks such as the Museum of Science and Industry and the lakefront parks along Lake Michigan. The neighborhood offers a safe, walkable environment with a mix of students, professionals, and long-term residents.



For groceries and everyday essentials, Target and Trader Joe’s are just a short distance away. When you want to enjoy some fresh air, Nichols (John Fountain) Park is nearby, providing a lovely space for walking, relaxing, or spending time outdoors.

Getting Around:

Public transportation is easily accessible from the apartment. The 55th Street & Dorchester bus stop is just a 5-minute walk, and the Lake Park & 53rd Street stop is around 7 minutes away. For train travel, the 51st/53rd Street (Hyde Park) station is about a 12-minute walk, making trips around the city straightforward and convenient.



Multiple CTA bus routes serving the area, providing easy access to downtown Chicago and surrounding neighborhoods. The Metra Electric Line is also nearby for a faster commute into the Loop. Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are readily available. Driving to downtown typically takes about 15–25 minutes depending on traffic, with major roads connecting you directly to the city center.
