It has stunning views with a balcony overlooking the River Dee, 2 bedrooms with king beds & a cosy living room with a smart TV.

Welcome to your perfect home away from home in Chester! This super cottage has views from the living room and balcony which overlooks the River Dee and The Meadows. The décor is stylish and in keeping with the cottage feel.



There is an open plan living/dining area with a comfortable 4 seater sofa from The Vintage Sofa Shop along with a comfortable armchair and a smart TV. The real showpiece of the property is the balcony with it’s views over the River Dee and to the meadows. Enjoy a lunch on the balcony and watch the river activity below. Off the living/dining area is a downstairs w/c and a galley kitchen which was fully updated in May 2024 with all modern appliances including an integrated dishwasher.



Upstairs there is a large bathroom with bath and separate shower.



The master bedroom is to the right with a beautiful King bed, built in wardrobes and its own w/c. The perfect space to unwind after a busy day sightseeing.



The second bedroom to the left also has a stunning King bed, built in wardrobes and a vanity unit.

Parking - Please note that there is parking for 1 small to medium sized car under the car port to the left of the front door. All other parking spaces are privately owned by neighbours and not to be parked in. If you feel that your car won't fit, there is parking on the main road opposite Waitrose (time restrictions apply) or paid for parking a short distance away at Christleton Road Car Park. Thank you!



The Neighborhood:

Within walking distance of the centre, this 2 bed home could not be better situated for your Chester stay.



The food quarter on Pepper street has an array of restaurants - favourites of ours include Piccolinos, Opera Grill, Artezzan and nearby Thai - Ruan Orchid.



Right in the heart of the city centre, you can park your car and walk to all of the tourist attractions. The Roman Walls, The Ampitheatre, Chester Cathedral, The famous 'Rows' shopping and the beautiful Cheshire Riviera - the River Dee!!



Favourite pubs and bars include Metronome Jazz Bar (small but full of character) on Godstall Lane, Providence Gin (42 pages of Gin on the menu!) on Watergate street and 'The Disguisery' on the rows above Sainsburys on Watergate Street.



The brand new Chester Market on Northgate Street is also well worth a visit!



Getting Around:

In central Chester everything is within walking distance, however Chester has very good bus routes and taxi services if needed.

Rail and road travel is also easily accessible here, with great train services to Liverpool, Manchester & further afield.

If you are bringing your car there is easy access to main motorways and also good routes to North Wales, Liverpool & Manchester.



Other Things to Note:

Between each booking, this home is professionally cleaned to the enhanced standards and the linen (sheets and towels etc) is professionally laundered.



There is a travel cot and high chair in the property. (Please note this is a standard travel cot suitable from birth to 36 months. It does not come with an additional mattress, pillow or linen so you will need to provide your own).



Please note that the property has a Smart TV with app access. You will need to use your own logins and the TV does not have live TV. However, you can watch live tv through both the BBC and the ITV app for example.



Usual check-in time is strictly from 4pm and check-out time is by 10am. We're willing to be flexible with this by arrangement but this is dependent on other bookings, so please let us have any requests in advance of your stay.
