Welcome to our home in the Garden Quarter in the lovely city of Chester.
Downstairs in the house you will find a living/dining room that comprises a seating area with sofa and chairs and a Smart TV with apps such as Netflix, it also has a dining table for your use. There is also a kitchen downstairs which has all amenities you need to self cater. You will also find one of the stylish king-size bedrooms downstairs, which is useful for those with mobility issues. Outside to the back there is a Courtyard space including a outbuilding containing a washing machine.
As you head upstairs there are 2 further spacious king-size bedrooms awaiting you. There is also a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Parking is free on-street parking which is either on the road itself or the road behind.
Access is self check-in/out via lock box.
Between each booking, this home is professionally cleaned to the enhanced standards and the linen (sheets and towels etc) is professionally laundered.
Usual check-in time is strictly from 4pm and check-out time is by 10am. We`re willing to be flexible with this by arrangement but this is dependent on other bookings, so please let us have any requests in advance of your stay.
I can`t be around myself, so I have a husband and wife team, Tom and Rachael who manage things locally.
Close to the city centre, this 3 bed home could not be better situated for your Chester stay.
The food quarter on Pepper street has an array of restaurants - favourites of ours include Piccolinos, Opera Grill, Artezzan and nearby Thai - Ruan Orchid.
Right in the heart of the city centre, you can park your car and walk to all of the tourist attractions. The Roman Walls, The Amphitheatre, Chester Cathedral, The famous `Rows` shopping and the beautiful Cheshire Riviera - the River Dee!!
Favourite pubs and bars include Metronome Jazz Bar (small but full of character) on Godstall Lane, Providence Gin (42 pages of Gin on the menu!) on Watergate street and `The Disguisery` on the rows above Sainsburys on Watergate Street.
The brand new Chester Market on Northgate Street is also well worth a visit!
In central Chester everything is within walking distance, however Chester has very good bus routes and taxi services if needed. Rail and road travel is also easily accessible here, with great train services to Liverpool, Manchester & further afield. If you are bringing your car there is easy access to main motorways and also good routes to North Wales, Liverpool & Manchester.
Telfords pub is a two minute walk down the canal, ten minute walk into central Chester, multiple take away and pubs on adjacent road.
We have travel cots and high-chairs available (free of charge but subject to availability). No linen is provided for the travel cot. They are not kept on site, so please advise us in advance if you need these for your visit so that we can endeavour to ensure they are provided in time for your arrival. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate last minute requests for these items.
Please note that the property has a Smart TV with app access. You will need to use your own logins and the TV does not have live TV. However, you can watch live tv through both the BBC and the ITV app for example.
A dog is welcome at an additional fee of £30 to cover extra cleaning. Please message in advance to advise that you are bringing your dog. If you have a second dog please let us know and this will be considered. Please kindly consider the following rules if bringing your dog;
-Dogs must be well behaved and house trained. -Dogs must be kept strictly downstairs & off the soft furnishings. -Any fouling on premises must be cleared up without delay. -Muddy paws should be cleaned before entering the house. We have a zero tolerance policy regarding abuse (verbal or physical) or generally antisocial behaviour by guests to our representatives, staff and our neighbours. Any violation of the house rules will forfeit the guest the right to leave a public review. There is NO SMOKING inside the house permitted. Please dispose of any cigarette buts smoked outside in the bin.

Weekend break with friends
This was a great base for a weekend break in Chester with friends. A really peaceful location that's in easy walking distance of the city centre. The property was very clean, tidy and equipped with everything we needed. Everyone appreciated the spacious bedrooms, comfy beds, towels, complimentary toiletries and hairdryer. All the important basics were also covered, including plenty of loo rolls, dish washing supplies, and milk/tea/coffee. The welcome prosecco and snacks were a lovely touch too.The host's communication was excellent and check in/out was hassle free. And, although we didn't need to use it, it was reassuring to have the phone number of someone close by who could easily visit the property to deal with any problems if they had come up.

Location was perfect only about 8 mins walk to town. Could do with more crockery ie., only 4 mugs and there were 6 of us. Nice and warm

Lovely getaway home.
Checkin was really simple to do, first impressions were of a lovely clean home with some well thought check in gifts; which were appreciated after a long drive. Hosts were lovely, neighbours not so! Kept blocking my car in which caused us issues. Other than this location and overall stay was good.
