River Cabin at Wauhatchie Woodlands is a cozy, tiny cabin located just 5 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. During your stay, you will enjoy the shared swim spa and hot tub, furnished back deck, and covered front porch with a charcoal grill. River can comfortably sleep up to 4 guests between the main bedroom and the sleeping loft and is equipped with everything you need to make the most of your time in Chattanooga.

Chattanooga is a city known for its railroads. There are active train tracks that border the property to the north and I-24 is about half a mile away. Please note that light sleepers may be affected by the ambient city and train noise. Each cabin has been equipped with a white noise machine to help minimize any disturbance. Please see the map to find your cabins proximity to the railroad.

Great Writer's Getaway

Sweet cabin and though it was raining and I couldnt use the swim/spa- I was cozy and enjoyed writing and reading and watching a movie in this secluded comfortable getaway!

More than we expected.

Me and my three friends would definitely come back to these cabins. We had the best time here enjoying the pool and all the amenities inside. It was so fun exploring everything inside, and it was a perfect location for sight seeing. We highly recommend and will be back!

Cutest Cabin Ever

This was the best little cabin ever. The whole little area where there are other cabins as well. I ABSOLUTELY loved this area. I took pictures and showed my aunt and parents telling them they needed to come stay here. I will definitely be staying here again. I told my boyfriend i want a weekend away to this area and one of these cabins for him & I.

We love staying here!

This is our second stay, and our family absolutely loves staying in the River Cabin. The check in & out process is so easy! The cabin is conveniently located to all the attractions at Lookout Mountain, a short drive to downtown Chattanooga & Racoon Mountain. Grocery needs are just a 5 minute drive down the street. Highly recommend 10 out of 5 stars!!

Tiny house tryout

Family vacation to check out Chattanooga. The location was perfect. Loved the layout of the tiny house. And absolutely loved the pool/hot tub include with is one. A few suggestions: Secure the dishwasher positioning Have a few more dishes options (ie...plates, bowls, etc) Check air conditioner in bedroom....noted smell. Build platform to put pool cover nearest our porch...it half falls each time making it challenging to put back into place. Overall, great stay!!!!!

Great stay!

We had a great time relaxing in the mountains with the family! Someone turned the swim spa heat on so it was too hot for our daughter to swim, but I reached out and the owners sent maintenance out right away to fix it and it was perfect the rest of the time! They were so responsive and helpful, we will be back!

Love Chattanooga

This was our first in these cabins. Usually we stay downtown and venture around the city. This time I wanted to do something different and stay in the mountains. Everyone loved the cabin & swim spa! Still close enough to downtown to drive to and venture, but tucked away just enough to decompress. Kids suggested staying here on our next trek, and I agreed. Staff was quick and attentive. 5 star stay in a lowkey setting!
