Welcome to Lakeside Landing, a Lake Norman luxury vacation rental! This 5 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom, 4,000 square foot luxury home is peacefully situated just steps from Lake Norman. Located on over one acre of land, this home accommodates up to 16 people and provides access to a private dock for swimming and boating.
This quaint, brick cottage-style home is privately situated away from other residences and is surrounded by lush green trees and a stunning lake view. Removed from the noise of neighboring residences, Lakeside Landing provides any family the perfect peaceful getaway. As you enter the property from the driveway, you pass an elegant garden, hosting an array of colorful flowers. The minute you enter, you will feel right at home!
Next, you'll enter through elegant double doors, which lead into the open home concept that uniquely expands the feeling of the space. When you enter the home, you will be invited into a warm and expansive living room, decorated with wood panel floors, vaulted ceilings, comfortable leather furniture, a flat screen TV, and a stone fireplace. This room allows you to take in the natural light while admiring the view of the lake.
Continue to stroll into the large kitchen, which is fully equipped with appliances and granite countertops. The kitchen is fully stocked to prepare a family meal including a Keurig and drip coffee maker giving each guest choices to make their morning Joe! The kitchen additionally provides a cute breakfast nook capable of hosting a meal for four, and offers gorgeous views of the lake. The kitchen opens up to the second floor back porch, an excellent location to have a drink and watch the changing colors in the sky during sunset.
The master is on the main level, granting easy access, with an attached bathroom. The upper level boasts three bedrooms- a junior master with a queen bed and en-suite bath, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room featuring 2 queen beds, one twin with trundle to sleep 6- these two bedrooms share a hall bath. Each room is equipped with luxurious bedding and queen beds. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage space as well, permitting guests to unpack and unwind – we want you to feel right at home! Most rooms have a TV too! Sleep in, relax, and enjoy some privacy.
Move downstairs to find a large, fully stocked game room ready for any adult or child to be entertained. This game room includes full access to a pool table, video games, mini fridge and flat screen TV. It is also perfectly located in relation to the back patio, which is on the ground floor, level with the lake. The patio provides a built-in grill (propane provided) and seating for six, as well as a large outdoor fireplace (firewood provided) and flat screen TV – a perfect place to accommodate the whole family for games, food, and fun!
Just down the hill, our guests are provided a private dock perfect for swimming and docking your boat. In total, the home features 1,500 square feet of decks and patios overlooking the scenic lake. Conveniently located on the dock are all of the fun lake toys which include: a kayak, a paddle board, and an assortment of life jackets.
Additionally, the property is equipped so that you can bring your own boat! Keep it in the garage or on the water, it is up to you. Otherwise, the private property accommodates as many as three boats. No need for the hassle of renting one daily – just keep it close and keep the fun going!

*Home Truths:* - A maximum of 2 pets are allowed at this home. Pets must be approved in advance and are subject to an additional fee of $175 per pet. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet. - The living room fireplace is not available for guest use. - Spices/Oils, Etc: These items are not guaranteed. Sometimes they are left behind and available, but they are cleaned out regularly. - This rental also features 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards. - No events, group gatherings, or parties are allowed at any AvantStay property under any circumstances. - Due to natural fluctuations, we’re unable to provide specific water depth information at any given time. The majority of docks in this area are generally suitable for most average-sized pontoons and ski boats. However, since boat drafts can vary, guests are encouraged to refer to Lake Norman nautical charts, GPS systems, and depth maps—and rely on their own knowledge of their vessel’s specifications—to ensure safe navigation.

--- Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we cannot always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
