192 St. Philip Street is a traditional Charleston home located just one block to King Street. The main floor has an open living room, dining, kitchen, one bedroom with ensuite, and a half bath. Upstairs boast one bedroom with a king bed and ensuite, and another bedroom with two queen beds and an ensuite. Just off the front porch is an open patio for relaxing after a full day of shopping and exploring downtown Charleston. 192 St. Philip Street is in a wonderful location just steps to Browns Court Bakery, The Warehouse, and multiple local boutique shops. Within a thirty-minute walk of 192 St. Philip Street you can visit the Battery, Charleston's Open-Air Market, King Street's finest shops, and dine in any of downtowns astounding restaurants.

Host was most pleasant, however she failed to explain that the main thermostat was on THE SECOND FLOOR, so we fought with the Mini splits to stay warm. The lower master bedroom is ridiculously unusable due to the king bed. No room for any items, no luggage or even to navigate! Fridge ENTIRELY TOO SMALL...replace it! We saw mold in a couple of places. Sofa very uncomfortable and shedding fabric onto our clothes. Lower BD TV and one upper BD TV would not connect to WiFi. Property is in "primitive condition" as to low quality remodel, etc. Should have info sheet on the door lock as it is a bit difficult. Aside from good location, just not a good property experience. Vrbo communications did fine.

Lovely historic home in a decent location to enjoy all Charleston has to offer. Two parking spaces was a necessity and this property fit the bill. Beds were comfortable and kitchen/living area good size for 4 adults. Sofa upholstery could stand some sprucing is only suggestion. Nice updated bathrooms. Would go back. Near enough to the free CARTA shuttle bus line. Eating establishments nearby enough to walk to.

Long Weekend

The location of the house is good however there was issues with ants in the drawers in the kitchen, the bedroom with 2 beds had dirty towels in the drawer, there was a rusty nail in the stairs we had to cover with a cup so that nobody would step on it, the sink downstairs in the living room wouldn’t drain, and there was a cockroach in the upstairs king bedroom that we had to deal with our first night there.

Great location, excellent communication

We were a group of 7 ladies. The pictures were very accurate, the place was lovely. Location is so convenient (about 1 block from King St), you didn’t need a car. Both before and during the stay there staff was very good at reaching or with instructions and recommendations.

PERFECT place for a Charleston Getaway!

We can't say enough good things about this property! The pictures don't do it justice - it is incredible and even more beautiful than it looks. Everything was perfect there, such cute decor and great location. comfy beds and pillows! My only suggestions would be to please get a cushion for the bench in the dining area and I would put towel rings to hold hand towels by the lower bathroom sink. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Guesthouse Charleston Review

Nicely remodeled detached house. Very clean and functional. Every bedroom is large and has it's own bathroom with shower. Comfortable beds and sofa. 2 off street parking spots. A short walk to the shops, restaurants, and bars of King St. Worked great for 3 couples. Highly recommended.

Great house close to King Street

My husband and I stayed here with another couple and LOVED the style and decor of the interior. The rustic walls and modern updates in each bathroom were spot on. The curtains and decorative pillows in the double queen bed room were so lovely that I want to find them for my own house. If I had to critique something, I’d say the sleeping pillows could be better quality and the yard around the house kept up better. But we would definitely book there again. Communication was amazing as well.

Short moving trip

The property located in a perfect location near shopping and restaurants and MUSC. 2 designed parking places were a high bonus. The property had plenty of room and was very comfortable. Management communication was wonderful. Would reserve again.

Amazing Girls Trip

This property was perfect for our girls trip to Charleston. Perfect location and walkable to king street. The decor of the place was so cute and loved having a parking spot. We felt safe in the area. Would stay again!

Charming

Property manager was very helpful and prompt. There was an issue with the AC when we arrived and the manager had the HVAC company out right away. This time of year is incredibly hot and humid in. Charleston so cooling the second floor is difficult in any home. There are standing fans which helped. Decor and cleanliness were excellent. En-suite bathrooms and showers are really nice. We also enjoyed the walking distance to King St. Parking is right on site which is a huge plus. I hope they will consider upgrading to cotton sheets instead of microfiber ones. Current sheets have no breathability. They are uncomfortably warm in the hot weather.
