Mary was very helpful and responsive both during the planning and after we arrived at the property. The house is just as pictured, beach is very close nearby, everything was clean and tidy. Mary sent a packet with recommendations of local sights and restaurants prior to our arrival, which was very helpful. The screened in porch was our absolute favorite part of the trip! Highly recommend this property.

Our family of 5 enjoyed a very comfortable stay and especially loved the easy access to the beach! The washing machine was unexpectedly out of service but Mary went out of her way to make sure it didn’t detract from our stay. What an amazing find on IOP. This property is very convenient, but also very private. We enjoyed our own private walkway to the pristine beach. This house had everything that we needed with a fully stocked and neatly organized kitchen and with plenty of beach chairs, umbrella, and cart for use. The screened in porch is an absolute gem- very large, private, and comfortable. Mary thought of everything and there were sweet personal touches throughout the house. It was nice to communicate with her too. Highly recommend!!! It was a perfect mom/grandma/daughter trip and it would be absolutely perfect for a family too.

Perfect Beach Getaway with Stunning Views & Most Gracious Host

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful oceanfront home! The views are absolutely stunning — you can enjoy them right from the spacious porch facing the ocean, which quickly became our favorite spot to relax. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a day at the beach. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and there were plenty of beach essentials provided, which was a huge plus. Parking was never an issue with the ample space available. Best of all, the host was the nicest and made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend this place for a perfect beach getaway!

Awesome Trip

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house worked out great for my family including my two granddaughters. Beach access was awesome, the house was clean, nicely decorated and well maintained. Our host was fully engaged during our stay making sure we arrived and checked in. She offered advice on places to eat and things to do in the area. We have been to Isle of Palms many times over the years and this trip was quite enjoyable due to the house and the host. I highly recommend this property and we will return soon.

HEAVEN ON EARTH

Took my mom and her signo to her bucket list town, Charleston, with beach style…Staying in the IOP was the best mix of busy touring and chill. Great food options, atmosphere and the best sleep. The air is just different and the beach sounds divine!

Pure joy

We loved our family stay at the beach house. It is very homey and well stocked with supplies for cooking and eating. The screened in patio is a pure joy. You see and hear the ocean but there’s enough distance that you have privacy from beach goers. The patio table is large enough for the whole family to gather around to eat, play games and enjoy the colors of the sunrise. The house is very comfortable and great for a family vacation - it’s more rustic and that adds to its comfort, warmth and charms. Mostly, the owner was so lovely. We lost power for a bit with the tornado in the area and she offered us to stay an extra day and allowed us to leave at our leisure. Also, the prior renters hadn’t fully closed the fridge so it took a bit of time to get it to a cold enough temp. Mary was so helpful and even offered to cover loss of food we brought. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare these days. Even though we had a few items not safe for consumption I had no intention of taking her up on her generous offer. Kindness goes a long way.

Wonderful Stay

The owner excelled with all communication before, during and after our stay. Home is in a quiet neighborhood near downtown Isle of Palms. It was the cleanest and well stocked rental we’ve ever had. Everything we could need including a wagon to haul things to the beach were there. The owners have literally anticipated every need. Beds were comfortable. There were games and puzzles galore. Best of all, as others have said, was the screen porch. Very comfortable chairs and rockers, the sound of waves to snooze by on the porch sofa, and the ocean

Home away from home

Mary was wonderful communicating with us from the beginning. From the big welcome packet she sent us in the mail, she was organized and texted us the day of check-in when the house was ready. Even beforehand, we could park at the house and go to the beach. The home was very clean, with fresh flowers, soaps, and fluffy towels. We loved all the details to make us feel at home. I cooked breakfast and most lunches, and I wanted for no pantry supplies. The screened porch was fantastic. There are many restaurants within walking distance, and groceries down the street. The beach is a quiet section, just far enough away from the pier and county park area which is busier. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay. Our kids said this has been their favorite vacation house.

Fit us perfectly

First off, it was very easy dealing with the owner. She provided us clear instructions beforehand and then via text while we were there. Very responsive with good information. Second, the house was ideal for what we needed. There were 4 of us (Mom & Dad and 2 kids, ages 14 and 12). The house was spotless when we got there and had everything we needed. Third, location was so great. Private boardwalk to the beach, easy to get in and out of when we drove anywhere, again, everything we hoped for and were promised. Fourth, all the beach stuff we needed was there. The cart was a life saver since it was so much easier than carrying the chairs and canopy (which were also provided). I'm not sure there's anything we'd change. We would definitely go back here!

Wonderful beach vacation

Very nice, well equipped house. Short walk to beach. Kitchen fully equipped, including spices, cleaning supplies, toys and games for children, nice Weber grill, covered parking, great location in IOP, plenty of backyard space for kids to play.

Thanksgiving beach stay!

Our plan was to stay at a property that had direct access to the beach from from the back door. This property had exactly what we were looking for. Quiet street with very little traffic. Easy access to the property via a car with plenty of parking. The house is well furnished. We were there to have a family Thanksgiving. There was everything that we needed to cook a 16 pound turkey for a family of six. Kitchen area is a little small for 4 adults contributing to the the dinner fixings but it added to part of the fun being in there at the same time. We wanted to eat out on the screened patio area but the cooler weather dampened the idea. We did do a couple of evenings using the BBQ which is a very nice BBQ I might add. The beds were very comfortable for sleeping so we got plenty of rest. The walks to the beach for morning sunrises was excellent and we seen some awesome and not so awesome sunrise due to the weather. We will be reserving this house again when we visit our daughter and son in law in the future.

IOP wonderful getaway with family

This was a great place for our family to enjoy the beach and time together. A beautiful place, easy walk to the beach and great communication with the owner. We were welcomed with a spectacular sunrise in the morning. The back porch was a relaxing hang out area. The location was convenient to stores and restaurants. It was the prettiest landscape view heading out to the dunes on the street.

FHS girlfriend reunion

This property fit our every need. It is without a doubt the owners love their property and are proud of it. It was appointed beautifully. There was nothing they didn’t make available for our use. And the cleanest I have seen of a vacation property. The owner Mary reached out several times to see if we needed anything or needed local information. We all would use this property again!!
