Fun Family-Friendly Home near Folly with Big Yard!

Come stay at our Funky, Fun, Folly-Adjacent Home! Our large, oak-filled property is located in a quiet, family-friendly residential neighborhood just 2 miles off the beach. Cut your travel time in half whether you are spending your days at Folly Beach or heading downtown to explore beautiful historic Charleston. We have a large, fenced in yard with plenty of space to spread out, and our charming, eclectic interior will ensure your vacation is out of this world!

Master Bedroom - King-sized bed, dresser, walk-in closet and TV with Roku. The master bathroom has a double vanity and a shower with bathtub.

Green Room - Queen-size bed and closet/shelves for storage.

Yellow Room - Full-sized bed with desk/work area.

Kitchen - Fully Equipped with oven range, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, drip-coffee machine, and breakfast nook.

Living Area - Smart TV for your streaming your subscription channels (OTA channels included). Living room connects to a small dining area and reading room with full-sized sleeper sofa.

Sunroom - Air conditioned sunroom/enclosed patio with large dining area and sofa.

Deck/Yard - Elevated deck has patio table with seating for five that overlooks gigantic quarter-acre yard with giant oak trees that light up at night!

Laundry Room - Washer/Dryer with ironing board and iron

Parking - Plenty of off-street parking for multiple cars and a carport for cover.

*This is a residential neighborhood, we will not be allowing parties, outside guests or loud activity after 9pm.

**We welcome families with children. The yard is fenced in, but neither the yard nor the home is baby-proofed, so please watch your youngsters!

***The fireplace in the living room is not operational. Please do not try to start a fire!

Please try to keep the sand at the beach. If you are unable to wash off at the beach, please use the back entrance and hose for rinsing off.
If you brought a grill, please restrict grilling to the driveway area, away from the house, and do not leave the grill unattended.

The four of us (parents and 2 adult children) really enjoyed our stay at this house. Plenty of room to play games, eat, do yoga, watch movies, and just relax. Everything was very clean. The host was terrific and responded quickly when we had a self-inflicted problem. It’s not a fancy house but everything was comfortable, including the beds. We enjoyed the space themed decor too.

We loved it!

We stayed here for a quick weekend trip to the beach. The house was perfect for our family, including our 3 year old and 20 month old. The hosts really made it the perfect place to bring our kids. I really appreciated that there was not a ton of extraneous, expensive, or breakable decor. There was a pack n’play, kid dish ware, and plenty of toys/games/books to keep us occupied. We would absolutely rebook here on our next trip to Folly Beach!

Spacious home with great sunroof for games.

Location is close to James Island County Park. Home is spacious with the best part being the large closed in sunroom with a large table perfect for eating meals together or playing games. Communication was clear from moment of booking to the day we left. Owner very easy to contact if needed. Home is a very short walk to the marsh past the cemetery. Also a short walk into the neighborhood is a library tree to get and give free books. We went for the annual PanCan PurpleStride walk in Charleston in memory of my momma who passed from the horrible pancreatic cancer disease 1.5 years ago.

Location, location, location! It’s the perfect low-key, quiet, no frills place to relax, yet just down the road from all the hustle and bustle of Folly. Great for families.

Terns Nest hideaway

This property was in a great location with good proximity to Folly beach and downtown as we went back and forth to both locations. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out with the 2 living rooms and a sun room. The owner was very responsive to any questions. We visit Charleston at least a couple of times throughout the year and we have found a new place to stay!

Close to downtown Charleston

My family and I stayed while we was moving my son into his dorm room at the College of Charleston. This home is the perfect location for going to downtown Charleston and Folly beach.
