Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

This property was beautifully updated with all amenities and in a great location for walking to many restaurants that we enjoyed. Off-street parking was a plus! Great communication with the host and easy check-in. .The stairs made luggage handling somewhat difficult when we arrived and departed so I mention that only for those who may need to know. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return

Well maintained, cozy, cute unit. Good size for two adults and two teens. The teens liked the loft that was accessible by ladder. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with travel toiletries. Walking distance to King St.

My wife and two kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was super clean and cool on our arrival. There are some great food places within easy walking distance, and the River is a reasonable walk. The area felt incredibly safe, and the neighbors were quiet. My kids loved the loft, and having two full bathrooms was a bonus. Full kitchen and appliances made leftovers worth taking home. It was our first trip to Charleston and we absolutely loved it.

We truly loved our time in this beautifully decorated and fun space! We had everything we needed to a long weekend and were able to walk to so many amazing spots. We appreciated the recommendations by the host. Would definitely stay again!

Great spot for our family of 4. Separate bedrooms for parents and kids and enough room to move around. Property itself was quiet and close enough to downtown without being in the mix. Parking was easy and always accessible. We didn’t utilize the loft but would be great for a larger party. Would stay at this property or with this company again.

So many plusses to this stay! The communication was fast and accurate. The unit itself is very well appointed. The decor is a fun retro/mid-century and super cute. The towels and linens were high quality and there were plenty per person, including a thoughtful black washcloth for keeping makeup marks off the nice white towels. They provided all the bathroom and kitchen basics, including a nice coffee setup (ground coffee, filters, and powder cream is all there with no stop at a store needed your first night). The neighborhood was highly walkable to local amenities, markets, restaurants, and the action along King Street. The neighborhood is very well kept, lots of pedestrian traffic, and we felt very safe. Parking was ample. Just one important thing to note. If you have ambulatory issues this may not be the best spot for you. There is a single set of steep steps going up to the entry of the unit (we had no problem with them at all). One of the bedrooms is a lofted space with a ladder that pulls out from the wall. It is quite a few rungs of climbing each way, so important to consider who may be able to handle that. We were a party of two friends, one per room, and we thought the space was perfect for us and had an excellent stay.

This listing is deceptive & our discussions with property management should have resulted in updates to the issues that required us to seek additional accommodations - The deceptive pictures remain on the listing. Before I provide review, property mgmt typically replies that guests should have asked more questions - When pictures are switched or altered to deceptively conceal critical info, more questions are not the problem. Upon arrival, with found the accommodations for six, could only provide for four. The loft bedroom is only accessible by a narrow rung-ladder about 10' to 12 ' up. The unsafe ladder is not possible for regular use. Property mgmt was well aware of the loft accessibility issue as they intentionally substituted a picture that either removed the bolted-in-place vertical ladder, or utilized a picture with no ladder form a unit that does not have a loft/attic. Management was attentive to our concerns on phone and text, trying to work out solutions for our party with other available units. There were no viable options. The result was to offer and our agreement for a partial refund (about 1/3 total cost) to cover 2 of our guests finding a hotel, while we used the two accessible bedrooms. They are now non-communicative, & no refund has been processed. We have been more than patient - delaying our review. Note; "six-person" rung ladder renters -The 2 bathrooms are only accessible through lower BRs. The exterior stair is not pictured either...

This was a great place to stay in a nice quiet neighborhood. It does have 3 beds but the loft was not usable in our opinion. One shower did not have hot water. Nice kitchen. There are some nice restaurants nearby. We would stay again if it was not upstairs as the steps are fairly steep, we didn’t notice that being upstairs in the description. Only sleeps 4 unless your very agile.

The unit was a top floor unit that was in excellent condition. Cozy enough for the 4 adults staying there. There is a loft with another sleeping space that we did not us. Good for kids or teens. Airconditioning was nice too. Property has coffee shops close by and is about a 10 -minute walk to King Street for shops and restaurants. Parking was ample here and it was easy to get in and out of the area.

My group and I had a great experience staying here! The best and smoothest check out I’ve ever had staying at a property like this. Great location, clean and had everything we needed. Only concern was the third bedroom was lofted and that was not advertised in the listing. Otherwise a great time!
