Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
Getting Around:
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Luggage storage offered Monday- Friday at our main office from 8:30am-5pm. On weekends we recommend utilizing Bounce Luggage storage. Please inquire once booking is complete for the address!

The beds were comfortable with super soft bedding, clean towels and shampoo and conditioner supplied. The street noise was very loud with cars and revving engines going past the house all night. The tenants above were also loud and stomping. This was by no means the fault of the property as it is an old home and to be expected . We unfortunately did not sleep well but overall the amenities were great

Location, location! Easy to grab coffee or a nice meal but quiet in the evening. Short stroll to King’s Street linens were plush and sofa was comfy. All supplies stocked for our needs for fall break in the Holy City. We’ll be back!

The front porch and steps are in terrible shape. As you go down the steps they slope. My granddaughter slipped and fell. The street noise was very loud no insulation. Sound machines were provided but neither were in working order. Would like to have a partial refund.

Not as expected
It was not as expected or as the pictures show. It’s very aged and not in a charming way they cover up the damage with paint not fix it. There was a smell to the house that was not enjoyable and it felt very dirty. The sheets had hair on them and we found a joint on the table when we arrived to check in.

The location was accurate and is conveniently located without being in the middle of downtown. We had an initial issue with our thermostat that the owner quickly and effectively handled which was greatly appreciated. The property is nice and would stay there again.

Older home in downtown Charleston
We enjoyed our stay. The host communicated very well.
As advertised.
Location is about a $10 uber to many of the sites of historic Charleston. You can walk to King Street, but keep in mind King Street is a long street and many of the sites our group wanted to see were near the French Quarter which is a 35 minute walk or so. We ended up driving and using parking garages for our day trips.
It's an old home, basic amenities, clean, and functional. I didn't think it about it when booking and looking at the pictures, but the only place to eat was at a bar with two bar stools which may or may not work depending on your group.
We enjoyed our stay in Charleston very much, - what a great town!

Charming (old) home- Good location
This was a nice house to stay in. The house was charming but a bit run down. The pictures make the property look more modern than it actually is.
