"Great location for ice fishing and snowmobile riding. Up North Lodge restaurant/bar is only minutes away with a great menu selection.We rented two cabins which were perfect for our party of 8. Kitchens are a bit small, but have everything you need for cooking meals. Host was great to work with."

"My son got married in the area and we booked the cabin to stay at. It was incredibly close to all of the wedding festivities which was great! We were pleasantly surprised with the views and coziness of the cabin. I would highly recommend staying here as it looked like it have everything for a family to enjoy a week of fun. Given the nature of our trip we really weren’t able to spend much time there but the time we did spend at the cabin was very enjoyable."

"We experienced an awesome 8 night stay at this cabin, which is quite cozy and had everything we needed. The location is superb, on the Michigamme River, and with many small, beautiful lakes within a very short drive. We fished as much as possible during the week, and host Ken was most gracious with recommendations and maps to various nearby lakes and rivers for us to try. "Roose’s Roost was the perfect cabin for our Fall trip. I wanted to see fall foliage and we didn’t even need to leave the camp for that. The yard was great size for the dogs to run around. We didn’t make it to Chris’ suggested hike to the sandy beach because of rain but maybe next year. The cabin was great, exactly what we needed. Thank you to Chris and Pam! Maybe we’ll see you next year!"
