"Stayed as solo traveller for 2 nights. Single room small but had all the facilities required and was spotlessly clean and warm, and ideally positioned just around the corner from the town centre. Breakfast very good with plenty of choice. Overall a nice stay (room 12) in a good budget single, with lovely and helpful host. Would happily stay again. (And thanks for the mince pies!!) . "

"Great stay. Good sized room with everything I could need. clean and warm. Rooms located in building alongside pub so no noise or disturbance. Ate in the pub and found the food to be excellent quality and a very fair price. Very tasty A location I will happily return to"

"I have to admit that, in my case, I didn’t enjoy at all. Staff is so inflexible, I was in a business trip. Impossible to get a cold sandwich after 9pm (arrived at 9:07) no other options in town except an Indian. The hotel is pet friendly which I like but for the rest not an option for me. A pity because I was expecting something different. The rooms are fine but too many steps and a bit caotic "
