Viatges a Centre de Tarrytown

This visit was a disappointment. I've stayed before & always enjoyed it so I chose Nyack for a mini bday getaway naturally and from check in it was a disaster. The hotel oversold it's rooms so the room I PAID for was unavailable. I had to take a standard room. I asked to extend my stay which they supposedly did, only to find out, they didnt properly. Had we not slept in Sun and been out, we may've found our things out of the room bc this management takes the liberty to do such things without permission. Saturday, Mgmt got the note from the overnight clerk about our room issue at check in, w/o a heads up, we got back in the afternoon to him gleaming about moving us PERSONALLY to a room w/a balcony from the standard room w/o one. A room half the size of the standard one which is NOT what I had originally paid for either. Though I'm sure the action came from a good place, no one should ever take the liberty to touch other people's things or invade other people's space w/o permission from bc that's how u get accused of things missing. We did feel violated but let it go. The new room was full of ants and MUCH smaller. Had we been given the choice first, we would've stayed in the standard room. The manager who did this said to me that we were now good in the new room for the "NEXT 2 NIGHTS" bc we had requested an extended stay. Cool. But come Sunday, it wasn't bc he tells us he said "tonight" not 2 nights. They had to do a whole new rez & it just added to the frustration. Hot mess!

Place didn't exist. Host did not respond to requests to clarify check-in. Upon arriving, the location was not as described and an individual who answered the door informed our party this was not a rental property. Had to last minute book elsewhere.
