I really wanted to love this place, and while we made the most of our honeymoon, it unfortunately was not as advertised and did not feel like a 5-star experience. The positives: everything was very clean, and at only 30% capacity, we practically had the Fuentes pool to ourselves. The à la carte food was good, and several staff members were exceptional—shoutout to Felix, Victor, Luis, and Sami! The excursion to Maroma Beach Club was truly the highlight of our trip and is highly recommended. Unfortunately, the service and follow-through were major disappointments. We requested an upgrade for our honeymoon, but our shower water was very cold for two days—the pools were actually warmer. We also agreed to a sales presentation in exchange for a couples massage, expecting about an hour. Instead, it lasted nearly three hours. When we tried to leave, we were sent to restaurants that were closed, leaving us without food until the afternoon. We reported this to multiple managers and were repeatedly told someone would follow up, but no one did. Even simple requests, like towels, were not followed through on. With the resort only at 30% capacity, the lack of communication and accountability was especially frustrating. Another thing that baffled us was being told that Spanish music could not be played because the general manager did not allow it. Being in Mexico, we found that incredibly strange. the poor service and lack of follow-through overshadowed the positives. I would not recommend

I rated a 3 out of 5 because the smell of the seaweed gave me a terrible headache everyday. Now that is not the resorts fought but it affected my overall vacation. Also the pressure of buying their programs is way too much. I was very honest from the beginning that I was not interested in purchasing anything. You say no thank you and still have to see 4 more people until you get upset and then have an attitude. And everyday the staff invites you. Just a little too much.. the restaurants, especially the buffets, were great. The bed in our room was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Again the beach was terrible. But overall I had a nice vacation. Entertainment was also very good. They had a fire show that was amazing .
