"This was a beautiful property and great place to get away for spring break. It was still pretty cold mid-April so we didn't get to enjoy the boats and lake activities, but still enjoyed sitting by the fire and taking in the views. The hot tub was a great way to warm up too. The kids really enjoyed the game room and the house had everything we needed."

"This was our third time at Shadowland. It was another incredible vacation that went all too quickly. Jason the host was perfect and we loved our stay. The kitchen is a great delight...everything we could want to cook up a tasty meal. The grounds are so beautiful and spending time by the river with our new adopted dog was so special. The hosts were responsive and made us feel like welcome from the very start."

"If I could give Beth and Terry more than 5 stars I would! This was our second year staying and have already booked again for next winter. The cabin was EXTREMELY clean, the plow service did an amazing job keeping everything plowed out for us. There is anything you could think you may need for your stay, plus some! They even provide you with local goodies to enjoy! Highly recommend their cabins! "

"My husband and I have stayed within this beautiful property several times. It is incredibly private. The owners have thought of everything for a quiet stay. They have constructed lovely cabins that provide peaceful surroundings, as well as upscale details within each cabin. "A friend and I enjoy hiking and exploring new areas. We loved the location of this home. It was clean, efficient, and peaceful. First night we listened to the Loons echo across the lake. "This small cabin was perfect for our needs. My husband and I stayed for a weekend in May 2025 with our two dogs. It has all the basics for a no frills getaway and close enough to all the local flair. We were in town for the grand reopening of the Cherry Bowl Drive-In, which is just down the street. This cabin is right on the river which was cool. It shares a wall with another cabin, but we never heard the other occupants. Our agenda didn’t allow us to take advantage of the other fun activities...

"The owners of this property are amazing! From the moment I booked, Jodi was in touch with me. She gave me many recommendations and was very responsive! The property is well maintained and I love the trails and quick walk down to the river. My only caution is to make sure that you have a truck or vehicle with 4 wheel drive, it had previously rained and there was a lot of water/mud in the dirt road on the way to the cabin and it would be difficult to do without that.
