A dream location

I’ve now stayed at Knottapharm multiple times and every time I pinch myself at how stunning the property is.To have wildlife casually roaming the property, the privacy and quiet of being tucked away in the valley plus all the comforts you would hope for in a country estate. I can’t speak highly enough of it.Leanne and Steve are also very diligent and caring owners who invest a lot of time in the property but also ensuring guests enjoy it fully. Our family can’t wait to return

Peaceful stay

We had a lovely weekend stay at Knottapharm as two families with young children. The house is well equipped for adults and children and the layout is perfect when travelling with another family. There was an issue with one of the rooms before we checked in which made our sleeping arrangements a little tight but Leanne and Steven made every effort to ensure we were comfortable and still had a fabulous time. We would love to come back and stay again!

Idyllic Getaway!

We were a family of 8 plus a toddler looking for a rural retreat for our annual holiday together. This property ticked all of the boxes from arrival. Secluded location, perfect character filled home that comfortably accommodated all really well, all the modern comforts, extremely well stocked kitchen and pantry, ample fire wood to enjoy the fireplaces the whole time we were there and the garden/grassed area was gorgeous and allowed for ball games and totem tennis. Could not ask for anything more! Leanne, whom we met, was such a gracious and organised Host. I could not recommend this property more highly, would love to experience in summer and get to laze by the pool! Thanks Leanne and Steven

Wedding Next Dooe

Ten of our extended family used Knottapharm as our base to attend our sons wedding near by. It is a great property with 3 separate wings, a beautiful pool and lovely grounds. As a bonus there are even chickens providing fresh eggs ( we got 1 each day).

Perfect retreat

This property is absolutely perfect for a family getaway or a large group of friends. The separate living & sleeping pavilions made it easy for everyone to have their own space as well as being able to come together in one large entertaining area. There’s loads of space for outdoor games and the pool was divine. It’s super private and beautifully appointed. The kitchen is wonderful to cook in, equipped with everything you could possibly imagine, the pantry is well stocked and the large dining table perfect for meals and game nights together. All in all, couldn’t recommend the property highly enough, and can’t wait to go back in the winter to use the outdoor fire pit!
