"The hotel was a little tired. it was in an excellent position and has a lot going for it and it could be better. Staff generally good, service in restaurant could be better. drinks in restaurant after the meal were slow and had to find someone to serve customers. we would be happy to come again. . "

"Very impressed by all on offer. Room booked, first class value. Evening meal excellent As was breakfast. Have not had such attentive and prompt restaurant service "for many a year"! Hotel situation close to cathedral and castle. The reason for visit. Also close to long term parking as hotel does not have places for cars."

"Beautiful hotel, clean and spacious rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the surroundings were lovely. Very convenient for the university too. "

"This is my second stay at this hotel, and hopefully not the last! The rooms were spotless, facilities are great, top spec bathroom etc etc. The staff are friendly and informative, and to top it all you get breakfast included! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gorgeous hotel to anyone travelling to Lincoln. "

"Direction by the hosts was spot on! Upon arrival we were a little early but as our room was ready they let us check in straight away. Staff were all super friendly and even offered to bring our bags in. Full guide or room was given. The room was beautiful and facilities were excellent including a mini fridge, milk (and oat milk for hubby), bottled water, handmade herbal tea selection, even umbrellas in the wardrobe incase it was wet! "We were in Lincoln for a family function. The room was clean and well-appointed. We did not eat in the hotel. There was a large car park right outside. Staff were efficient and friendly. Would stay again if we were in the area."

"The hotel was good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was excellent (119) with king size bed and plenty of room. The bathroom was newly decorated and the shower very good. The room, corridors and reception area were clean and tidy.
