All staff were so warm, welcoming and helpful- I was greeted upon arrival with a welcome drink and my bags were taken up to my room whilst I checked in and relaxed in the Great Hall. "A lovely traditional building, beautifully decorated and good sized rooms. It's cuisine, not average grub. Challenges me to try something different. Friendly, helpful staff. An affordable treat. Fabulous location close to the Abbey with disc parking across the road and a large free car park 5 minutes walk away by the Wentworth Centre. Second visit. If they start to accept well behaved dogs I'll be back again. "

"Arrived to a bank of motorbikes which was a bit intimidating but after that (they left after 5 mins) everything was A1👌 Good sunday roast; room tastefully decorated; shower was great but best of all was the quality mattress and feather pillows - slept easily which is unusual for me in hotels. Lovely ambience throughout the hotel too. Stylish & excellent stay for the price point. Would def go back. "

"Right from the friendly welcome by Tom, my stay was fantastic. I was travelling myself with 2 young children for a family funeral in the area. All the staff were friendly and very good with the children. They were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. We enjoyed a meal in the evening. Good choice for adults and children. We also all enjoyed the buffet breakfast too. "

"We had a brilliant stay at the Hygge, it is tucked in the corner surrounded by open countryside, just beautiful. The quietness was appreciated and lovely. The Hygge itself was spot on, well maintained and very clean. We found it to be a very comfortable and practical place to stay. We could have easily spent longer there and look forward to returning "
