"We had a very enjoyable short stay at The Canford. All the staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and friendly (Terry, Ross, Ellie, Lena, Taly). "Very clean and very friendly staff. Rooms were decently sized, and we had very little disturbance and noise. Beds were comfy and clean. We paid extra for breakfast which was decent and worth the money (a hot breakfast which is brought to your table and cereal, pastries and hot drinks that you can get yourself). Great location for the quay and old town, with shops, restaurants, pubs and many boat trips nearby. If we were to return to the area we would come back here. "

"The Anchorage is a great place to stay. It's a few steps away from the quayside and is well served by restaurants and pubs. Our room, Rm4, was extremely clean and well equipped with a fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryer, soft towels and quality bed linen. We will definitely rebook if we come to Poole again."

"I had a very pleasant stay at Quayside Quarters. It’s in a quiet street just off the quay in Poole. My room was clean and comfortable and the owners made sure I got in OK and allowed me to leave my bag in the building for a couple of hours after I vacated the room. I would certainly like to stay again when next I need accommodation in Poole."

"We had a great time at Knoll House - a truly old British affair - vintage and well loved, quirky, fun, v friendly and efficient staff, good dinner, excellent breakfast. Perfect for a family break with plenty of facilities and brilliantly located. We took our small dog who was welcomed by staff. By the very nature of being dog and family friendly this is a cosy place, gentile but not fancy - ideal for active guests with plenty of space for grandparent to join too! "
