"A charming stay in a beautifully restored old coaching house. This family-run hotel is warm, cozy, and full of character. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you arrive, with friendly owners who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The food is excellent, homemade, hearty, and full of flavour. "

"My friend and I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were all excellent, very friendly and helpful. The spa area and outside space were very relaxing and we loved our room which was very spacious and had everything that we needed. We will definitely go back "

"Amazingly large and typically quaint old coaching inn under new and energetic management. We stayed because of proximity to Althorp House. Stand out feature is the food at typical pub prices but far from typical. It was superb and makes it a destination in itself. Such a pleasant change to eat real home cooking and not some chilled and reheated offering. Full English breakfast included in room rate and also superb. "

"Stayed one night with family after a driving experience at the nearby aerodrome. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff very friendly and food on the night excellent. Will definitely visit again."

"Really nice place. My wife and I spent an enjoyable few days in the area and despite a wedding being held at the hotel the weekend we were there, there was no problem with noise or access to facilities. Lovely restaurant, grounds, spa and staff. "

"room beautifully prepared and well equipped for short stay. 11 year old grandson stayed in family room with us and there was plenty of space to accommodate all three of us. Will definitely book again for future get togethers. "

"Regular visitor. Always clean, friendly staff, lovely rooms and great food. Only minor criticism would be that there is typically only one staff member on breakfast/check-out which can mean a few minutes waiting, but other than that, an excellent place to stay !"

"This small hotel was quite a find. My room was warm and comfortable, with good facilities. It has a small well-stocked bar. It is probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in."

"Very large rooms. Free parking, and great chinese if its open. No breakfast available. Good for the price. "

"Hotel is brand new everything excellent. Onsite restaurant 2 mins walk. Cafe across road all priced at student discount free parking. Bar usually close 2200 but if event on it 0100 we had euro blues festival. Hotel bar shuts 2100. "
