The neighborhood is a true outdoor playground, offering hiking, mountain biking, and sledding trails just a 3-minute walk from the front door. In winter, enjoy cross-country skiing and snowmobiling on these trails, while in the summer, they transform into ideal paths for hiking, biking, or dirt biking. For more thrilling outdoor experiences, you’re only an 8-minute drive from the Tahoe Nordic Cross Country Center and within 20 minutes of top ski resorts like Palisades Tahoe and Northstar.

During the warmer months, explore the scenic Tahoe Rim Trail or relax at Carnelian West Beach, just 6 minutes away. If some in your group prefer less outdoor activity, Tahoe City is a quick 10-minute drive away, offering boutique shops, restaurants, bars, farmers markets, and live music.

Getting Around:
The home is just under a mile from the nearest public transportation stop on Tahoe's system, called TART. This stop is located on the Mainline at Hwy 28 and Lardin Way, running every hour along the western shore of Lake Tahoe, from Tahoma to Incline Village on the north shore. You can also take advantage of the home's close-driving proximity to Tahoe City and make the short 10-minute drive to the FREE park and ride, which services locations like Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. The home’s excellent location provides quick access to the main highway, allowing you to explore many beautiful areas within a short drive. In the winter, hit the ski slopes at Northstar Ski Resort or Palisades Tahoe Ski Resorts, both a 20-minute drive away, or make the 8-minute drive to Tahoe City Nordic Center for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing.

Tahoe also offers Uber, Lyft, and many taxi services.

Other Things to Note:
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.

Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used.

4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.

Did not enjoy the home. It is cluttered in design, and the kitchen was a nightmare. Some of the items in there would be considered trash . I really wanted to love it, but there was no balcony furniture for the family to gather outside.The home was not clean!

AMAZING Tahoe Home

The pictures of this place are beautiful, but they do not even do it justice. From the moment we walked up to see a sled out front with a tiny hill, our boys were in heaven. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen, fun games in the garage, and hot tub with incredible views. The location is very convenient to Tahoe City (rentals at Tahoe Daves), Northstar, and Palisades. We even found a fun sledding place nearby too (Granlibakken). The bathrooms and kitchen were very stocked and the host was super responsive. We honestly cannot say enough great things about our stay, and really hope to stay here again soon! :)

Great place in a great location

We enjoyed this spacious home close to plenty of ski resorts and activities. There are a number of cooks in our group and we found just about everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. The cozy living room was our gathering place and we got a lot of use out of the fireplace. The hot tub was a popular attraction as well. Bathrooms are equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Check out the master bathroom - it is huge and very modern! Overall, a wonderful place for our group to gather!

Beautiful modern & well-stocked home

Nice, newer home with a great deck, BBQ and partial lake views. Very comfy and really well stocked. Hate when the home has 1 roll of toilet paper, no shampoo/conditioner or no dishwasher soap. Not this home, they thought of everything! Nice layout, adjustable HVAC, large TVs (Sunday NFL was a breeze). Modern bathrooms. This home was a pleasure. Would def stay again!
