The apartment is set within our unique conversion of a large Victorian property of seven flats. This cosy one bedroom apartment is easily accessible on the ground floor, having its own separate entrance, with an open plan layout and solid oak floors throughout.

We've just added a mega Virgin Media bundle so now you also get ALL Sky Sports and Movie channels. Listen to your music in the bedroom and bathroom with our in-ceiling speaker system. Super speed 350Mbps Wi-Fi from Virgin fibre broadband is free and unlimited, you can even plug in your devices by Ethernet cable if necessary. Keep your devices alive with fast charge USB sockets in both the living room and bedroom.

If you fancy cooking during your stay the kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, integrated washer dryer, fridge freezer, waste disposal unit, toaster, kettle, Tassimo coffee machine, as well as the usual cookware, crockery and cutlery you'd naturally expect. Drink fresh chilled Brita filtered water from the dispenser in the fridge, we've even frozen some Brita ice cubes ready for you!

Sleep in comfort in the cosy bedroom with a double bed and crisp white cotton bed linen. Cupboards are built in, and there's a small digital laptop safe for your valuables. In the living room there's a luxury Cocoon pull out pocket sprung double sofa bed, suitable for two adults or children.

The bathroom is chic and modern with a shower over the bath. We also provide fresh white towels and essential bathroom amenities for your stay.

Gas central heating keeps you warm and provides hot water on demand. Tell us your expected time of arrival, and we'll have the apartment warm and cosy as soon as you arrive. For your safety, there is a Smoke Alarm, Carbon Monoxide detector and Video door entry system with CCTV at the entrance lobby..

Oakfield Street is set within a conservation area of large 3 storey Victorian properties. Our property was refurbished in 2010, and this apartment is within the new wing at the rear that was built from the ground up to a very high standard.
The apartment is just a 5 minute walk from Albany Road and Wellfield Road. Here you will find the local high street and many great places to shop and dine.

There are free street parking spaces directly outside the house.
Cardiff Bus will take you to the City Centre from Newport Road in less than 15 mins.

We use noise monitoring devices across all our properties to ensure our quiet time rule is observed. These devices only monitor the decibel noise level and cannot record or listen to any activity in the property. Our properties have both residents and neighbours in adjacent properties that we must respect at all times. Everyone deserves a peaceful nights sleep when they stay with us, so please choose and book only if our properties suit the type of stay that is permissible and meets your needs.

High speed WiFi and wired internet is available throughout the apartment.
Internet ID and Password details are available on the inside of the boiler cupboard door in the entrance.

A Tado smart thermostat controls the heating temperature, a manual override thermostat is in the living room.

Hot water is always available on demand from the gas combi-boiler.

The Tassimo coffee machine is supplied with a set of starter drinks. To use please fill the water tank to the MAX line, on the side of the machine. Insert your cartridge in the top (upside down) and press the start button and leave the machine to do the rest. Some drinks require two cartridges to complete.
