Dubbed the 'Valleys House' following its starring role in the infamous MTV series, this is where ‘boutique’ meets ‘bunkhouse’ in the heart of Cardiff Bay. Perfect for a group of up to 4 colleagues visiting Cardiff for work who want great value Mon-Fri accommodation, a bedroom per person, free parking and local bars, restaurants & cafes.

The keys for the front door are located in a lock box for which you will be given the entry code 24 hours prior to check-in. Video cameras are provided front and rear for your comfort and safety.

The higgihaus@butestreet (#107) is for your exclusive use during your stay in our awesome city. There is no need for you to interact with us, but should you need anything, we'd be delighted to help. #teamhiggi are a friendly bunch who love Cardiff. Between us, we eat out a lot and are thus a veritable goldmine of places to see, things to do, restaurants to eat at, bars worth a visit and how to get about. We'll provide contact numbers ahead of check-in (feel free to call and say hi).

The higgihaus@butestreet (#107) is in the heart of Cardiff Bay a short distance from Mermaid Quay. The area around the property is full of shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, pubs, supermarkets and all the transport options you’ll likely need when staying in our awesome city (including a train that takes you to Queen Street station in central Cardiff).

Transport

Transport options are numerous and include buses, taxis and the Cardiff Bay train station, just a short walk away. Buses are frequent and take around 12 minutes to reach the centre. The train will get you access to the centre of Cardiff by way of Cardiff Queen Street Station (4 minutes). If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, the centre of Cardiff can be reached on foot in 20 minutes (6 minutes by taxi).

Parking

Great value and plentiful parking can be found on the street, although do check local signs for the rules and regulations. Off-street parking is also numerous, with the nearest commercial parking being found at Mermaid Quay Car Park (Cardiff Bay).
Check-in is any time after 3PM and check out by 11AM. We may occasionally be able to accommodate an early check-in or a late check-out. Please enquire at the time of booking.

In this Monday to Friday configuration, please only use the tree sleeping areas and beds at the front of the property. Use of the sleeping areas ad beds at the rear will incur an additional charge of £200 for cleaning and linen hire.

Strictly no smoking, parties, or events.

No pets unless by prior arrangement.

Please respect our neighbours keep noise to an appropriate level at all times don't scream, shout, swear or have loud or crass conversations outside the apartment or the property itself.

If you do play music inside, please make sure it isn't audible outside and keep the windows and doors shut.

Please ensure that the only people in the property are named and registered guests.

STRICTLY no smoking inside or near the front door of the apartment or the building. If you must smoke, then please do so in the street at least 10 metres from the front door to the building and clean up your butts. If you or any of your guests smoke inside the house during your stay you will be charged a minimum of £180 to cover the cost of a deep clean of the property.

Upon departure, please help us to prepare for the next guest and leave the property as clean and tidy as time permits. Our housekeeping team would appreciate you bagging your rubbish and recycling placing the bags by the bins in the kitchen.
