Es war so schön und erholsam, wir wären sehr gerne noch eine Woche länger geblieben...Am meisten haben wir die Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe genossen, nur ein Nachbargrundstück mit Urlaubern in ausreichender Entfernung.

Rigtigt dejligt hus, grund og beliggenhed.Poolen er god stor og med gode parasoller.Fantastisk udsigt fra pool område og husets lækre store terrasse.Alt var som håbet og værterne var nemme at få fat på og kommunikere med.Køkkenet har hvad man skal bruge og vi lavede mad mange gange. Godt supermarked ca. 15 væk.Stor anbefaling.

An amazing stay at a beautiful location

We had a wonderful stay. What a beautiful villa and what an amazing place. Truly a very special and gorgeous location. Everything was well organised and in perfect order. All the ingredients are there for a fantastic holiday. Kate and Gareth, thank you so much for allowing us to stay here. We can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Sehr schönes Haus, absolut empfehlenswert

Das Haus liegt traumhaft, etwas abgelegen in sehr schöner Natur eingebettet. Alles sauber und technisch in Ordnung. Bäder ausgesprochen schön, Betten bequem. Sehr schöner Pool mit verschiedenen Tiefen, Aussenbereich ausgezeichnet. Die Betreuung vor Ort von Chris war sehr gut. Wir haben das Essen mit dem Chef im Haus gebucht, es ist sehr zu empfehlen. Tischtennisplatte mit vielen Schlägern vorhanden. Im Haus etliche Gesellschaftsspiele da. Viele gute Restaurants im näheren Umkreis. Wer Trubel möchte, ist hier nicht richtig.

The house with the perfect pergola & view

Thank you for this experience Gareth & Kate (&Chris) - a lovely house far away from the city stress perfect to spend time with dear friends. Our stay was when the first heat wave hit, and in order to be able to sleep calmly with the windows open it would have been even better with mosquito nets. But besides this little thing everything was perfect.

Lovely property in beautiful location

We were 8 adults and loved our stay here. Pool is large and warm. Great accommodation. Good sized table outside for eating at. Very good communication before we went and property manager on hand if we needed anything during the stay. There are some lovely hilltop towns within 30 mins of the property, Arezzo is an hour away and there are restaurants and a supermarket 10 mins away. Can thoroughly recommend!!

Joy in the green heart of Italy

Our 3rd trip to this region, but our first stay at Covivoli. She did not disappoint. Kate and Gareth have created something truly beautiful and with Chris on hand for any questions we fell into the Italian way of life from the moment we arrived.

Beautiful house with stunning view

We (two families with grown up kids) had a lovely time in Covivoli. Beautiful house, kitchen well equipped, great pool, wonderful shady terrace. Not a very touristic area, which is a plus to us. Aghiari and Arezzo nice cities for a short visit and/or a nice meal.

Toskanaurlaub mit Freunden

Wir waren als Freundesgruppe zu 8. im Ferienhaus und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Bereits im Voraus war die Kommunikation mit dem Ansprechpartner Chris unkompliziert und so buchten wir bereits zuhause eine Weinprobe im Haus. Die Ausstattung des Hauses war super, und hat es an nichts gefehlt. Besonders toll war der Außensitz mit einer langen Tafel. Was bei 4 Pärchen schade war, war dass das kleinste Zimmer kein Doppelbett hatte. Die Lage des Hauses war wunderschön, gleichzeitig etwas weit abgelegen von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Städten zur Besichtigung. Dennoch hatten wir einen unvergesslichen Urlaub und würden zu jeder Zeit wieder kommen.

We’ve returned to this property many many times over the years, which should tell you every you need to know about how much we enjoy it here. It’s in a great location with lots of towns nearby to visit or should you just want to sit on the terrace and look at the view, you won’t tire of it.

Beautiful rural Tuscan experience

We had a wonderful stay at Covivole - a fantastic farmhouse that has been lovingly restored and was the prefect space for a group of 10 (2 families) with modern facilities - the kitchen was very well stocked. The house was spotlessly clean, it has a rustic charm and all rooms have wonderful views. The Beds are very comfortable including the sofabed so we could sleep 10. But of course it’s the outside space that makes this holiday home and we were not disappointed - even better than the photos, with a huge vine covered terrace over a large dining table and far reaching views into the fields and hills beyond. Sunrise and sunset were both stunning times of the day. The pool is superb - very very large and more than enough space for swimming and mucking about for 2 families with older teenagers. There are plenty of sun beds and one large parasol. Lovely gardens and we stocked up on insect spray which is always needed in the countryside! Chris the housekeeper was on hand and helped us out immediately with a few issues , as well as giving us great recommendations of things to do and places to visit. A car was a must for exploring Tuscany and into Umbria or Emilia-Romagna - with some beautiful hilltop towns within easy reach and hiking /forests to explore. We also took a trip to the Adriatic coast - 90 minutes to drive there - but it was totally worth the effort. Thankyou Gareth, Kate and Chris - we will definitely recommend your wonderful farmhouse !

Special place

We all had a lovely week at Covivoli. The weather was hot, but the vine-covered terrace gave us plenty of shade, and the pool was delightful! Both the children ( aged 2 and 6) loved it! There are also plenty of good quality fans to keep the house cool. The views from the house are stunning and the location is so peaceful. Yet the supermarket in Pieve Santo Stefano is only 10 minutes away and is well stocked. There are several short flights of stairs which could be a bit of a challenge for a small toddler, but our little lad managed fine. Everything is very well organised by Gareth and Kate who supplied an abundance of information about the house and locality which we found very helpful. Also, thank you for the wine, it was delicious! We’d particularly like to thank Chris, the property manager who was always on hand if we had any queries, responded very promptly and was extremely kind and helpful. We would definitely like to pay a return visit to Covivoli!

Glorious Convivioli!

Our second stay in a month-long family trip in Italy. Gorgeous scenery, a bit hard to locate but well worth any effort. Well maintained and stocked, very clean. The manager Chris was always available for house issues or other questions. Always friendly and informative. A wonderful week. Thank you.

Beautiful Hide-away in the Tuscan Hills

We spent a very nice and relaxing week at Covivoli. Although the house is a bit older than it looks on the pictures, it is very well equipped and the kitchen is quite modern. The pergola is a dream. There is lots of natural shadow (it was very hot end of June) and there is enough space under the Pergola for the Children to play. Also it has a great view on the surrounding hills and fields. Very quite nighborhood in the middle of nature. The pool is very nice and big and we spent most of the time there. One of the two umbrellas was broken when we arrived and also the pool cover broke probably long ago and should be replaced. Apart from that, the stay was just amazing and everything was perfect. Caprese Michelangelo is very close and we had a very good Pizza and delicious ice cream at the local "Sportsbar". We would definitely recommend this place to everyone who likes a week of dolce far niente.

Tuscan bliss

Covivoli is the most magical place, we had a wonderful two weeks there. The house is great, but the outside area and the view is what makes this house particularly special. The covered area at the back of the house is magical, vines growing up and a perfect table where we ate all our meals, with views for absolutely miles. The pool is fantastic, and a lovely big area around the pool, which is perfect for playing with kids. The house is really well equipped, so there was nothing else we could have possibly needed. Gareth was really quick to respond all my messages, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, and the house manager Chris was amazing. So kind and helpful, he popped round to do the pool twice a week, and was on hand to answer all questions and make sure we had the best possible holiday. A big, big, thank you!

Fantastisch

Erg genoten in deze mooie compacte villa. Vooral het leven buiten (terras en zwembad) was heerlijk. Gastheer Chris stond altijd paraat en ook van kok Laura hebben wij ontzettend genoten.

A place to be

We had a wonderful time in an amazing house! The equipment and the conditions are great! Also the point of contact is absolutely helpful and very kind. Day trips around the house are the best to do and then chilling in this great pool. Calming down for a week in this perfect place I can recommend!
