"Host was amazing and responded quickly. Ranch is secluded and away from the busy city. No noise or light pollution, just fresh air and bright stars. Kids loved the chickens and wood burning fireplace. We enjoyed setting on the couch in front of the fire as we talked about the adventures of the day. The host family is a gracious and welcoming. You will not find a better place to live the country life hosted by true country family."

"The Alton Lodge is awesome! It is a beautiful log structure that is warm and inviting! It was the perfect place for my wife and I to stay on our way from Zion NP to Bryce Canyon NP. We enjoyed the hiking trail up the hill behind the lodge as well as the night sky full of stars. Seeing a herd of elk on the way into Alton was icing on the cake! We highly recommend the Alton Lodge!"

"The house was in a perfect location for us! We had 7 adults staying there and had plenty of room. There is an electronic board in the dining room with local recommendations and a link to contact the property manager. The owner/property manager was responsive and helpful when I had questions. We were able to contact them and get a quick response when we noticed that a hose was on. My only real complaint is that the dryer was old and had issues!"

"Quiet and secluded, but close to everything we needed. We had a great time exploring Bryce and Zion. A few small issues were taken care of promptly by management. Beds were very comfy. Kitchen was a bit limited, but we managed. Knives were nice and sharp, which is unusual for a rental, and most pans were clean on arrival, also unusual. Roku TV worked well and we were able to hook up everything we brought. We would definitely come again."
